Hahah that’s funny may5 I was arrested 😂 for that exact reason I didn’t see a stop sign and when I questioned the officer he got pissy so I was like ok so if I’m not detained nor under arrest I can leave right he said no I said so I’m being detained he said no so i said ok sir I’m leaving have. A nice night started to get on the bike and I was put in a choke hold body slammed and almost tazed 😂 cops are LITERALLY USELESS AND STUPID FROM NOW ON I RUN FROM COPS BUT to answer your question most of the time no select cops are a pain but most are chill

Just to be clear, under AZ (and most state laws), a class 2 ebike has to cap at 20mph and may have a throttle, and a class 3 ebike has to cap at 28mph and may not have a throttle. Under those definitions, a Talia or Sur Ron is not a “bicycle”, but also lacks the required features to be classed as a motorcycle (vin, registration, plates, etc). So technically they are not street legal. The cops SHOULD have better things to do than harass people on e-bikes but that doesn’t mean they won’t bother you.

@Cosmico Bonico I use RNVGS with a headlight cutoff on the bike. You can get them from Steele Industries, TNVC. Definitely go with a bino. NV is expensive (around 6-12k depending on tunes and housing) but completely worth it.

I've ran cops more times than I can count lost my license for almost a decade because of it (can't out run helicopters at least not everytime). But in that scenario where you didn't have to at all cop was just trying to put you in check a "I'm sorry I got over excited" would have been enough. Kind of a reckless dick move
