I think with this next generation console will change the way developers look at things. Of course pc will always be the most powerful, but will it run its true capacity as the developers are going to lean to the ps4/xbox one. Take for example nba 2k14 if you buy it for pc you will notice its graphics were not changed at all as like for the ps3 or xbox 360 which sucks because we all know it should be looking like the next gen console graphics or better. It still looks like last years version. I know the pc will be able to take on the next gen consoles but i dont think developers will put in the effort to make that happen. I think ps4 and xbox one are more powerful than the average pc that gamers use which wasnt the case when the ps3 or xbox 360 came out. The next gen its ahead of its time and i think thats what developers want because the average joe uses consoles for gaming rather than a pc.

***** No, you're wrong. Both PC & PS4 versions had a bad port, even the best PC lagged within the menu. A new patch was released a few days ago fixing the bugs and the frame rate issues. Just like dead rising 3 dropped to as low as 10 FPS on 720p, 30 FPS. But now apparently they fixed it with a patch.

PS4 only capable recording 15 minutes of gameplay by it's own, so with this you can record your PS4 gameplay on Xbox one as long as you want (as long as your Xbox one HDD still capable to record)

It's not really reliable though. I saw videos showing the latency and it had a 1-2 second delay so for shooting, platform, and fighting games gameplay would probably be unbearable.

yes that's what I also like, I was worring sht another hdmi device and all 3 hdmi ports are used up. so I can plug my tv box into the xbox and still have a separate input for the 360 and my pc. and this is where I have no console, pc war I have them all, all in one place!!

You are missing the point of the pass through. You can get game notifications while watching TV. Imagine yourself watching a show when suddenly a you receive a fifa match request from a friend, or a skype video call. If you have a ps4 / ps3 / xbox 360 you would miss the notification. Its a very nice feature to have in my opinion

It's cool,but there's no real point to this. the point of the HDMI input of the Xbox One is to have your TV, Computer plugged in, and being able to, watch TV on your Xbox for instance, just plug your sattelite TV receiver thing and there you go. Plugging a PS4 or a PS3 or even a Xbox360 in the Xbox One wont make a single difference to how the One reacts, it's just plain video streaming.

hdmi cable split comes to mind, i mean ps4 output to xbox one input and the other input to tv, then you can track your ps4 when on you xbox one and chancge chanel to hdmi 2 to play....

The PS4 has heating issues?? That's the first I've heard of that. Anyway, it's too bad the HDMI input on the XboxOne has lag. It also would have been a nice option for people who wanted pseudo backwards compatibility with the 360. That's the biggest problem it seems with HDTVs, cloud computing, etc... Any little bit of lag can totally ruin your gaming experience.

Yep, well some people are saying so (but I really think it is because they put it on a closed site like and VHS or DVD player (like they did with the PS3 because they tough it was like the PS2, but as technology goes on, so is the heat and people dont realize it. It is supposed that PS4 can reach 60° of intense gaming (and Sony said 40, so I dont trust many people hahaha) But well, yeah it is a shame, I want to use the feature to have an easier way to change the PS4/PC/Ouya/X360 instead of going back to the TV (and I only have 2 ports so I cant hook up all at once, and HDMI splitter dont support 1080p unless they are good companies which are expensives :S) and having lag with it is a shame (but hey, we manage to play with lag and dont even realize, do you know that LCD/LED and Plasma TVs have Lag? Try to compare a CRT TV with a High def TV and you will notice, it is supposed that the new OLED will not have Lag, but well.

mendyc158 I remember back when the PlayStation 1 came out in 1995 customers were returning their systems because of issues caused by overheating. It turns out that most of the problems were caused by people keeping their systems on shag carpets and other areas where it could no get proper ventilation. I also found it strange that Sony gave retailers a kiosk for the original PS3 that contained the system in a glass box. They almost always locked up due to heat. I think people just need to be more aware of the console's surroundings.

Well my PS1 had problems but I dont remember overheating issues (the FAT one, I know the Slim one doesnt have a fan but uses a tiny chip so it is not supposed to get heat) and I had it in a VHS stand (the closed one) for a long time, until I have a huge collection (8 consoles and adding more :D) So i have them all were they have a lot of space. I once tried to put the PS3 FAT backwards compability on that spot but fans were hell loud, I putted in next to my PC (because is also the main console I use right now) and I dont hear the fans

PS4 isn't all native 1080p and 60fps.. Assassin's Creed 4: 900p native, 1080p (with patch) @ 30fps Battlefield 4: 900p native, 1080p (with patch) @ 40-60fps Call of Duty Ghost: 720p native (SP & MP), 1080p (SP & MP with patch), @ 40-60fps Your games that are 1080p but suffer with dips in framerates: Drive Club: 1080p native, @ 30fps Infamous second son: 1080p native, @ 30fps Killzone Shadow fall: 1080p (SP & MP) native @ 40-60fps (MP) and 30fps (SP) Knack: 1080p native, @ 30-40fps

Nope, X1 ONLY gives you the snap feature and changing from a another console game, to a Xbox One game, but it does NOT control the other console. If you are on the PS4 inside the X1 you still will need a Dualshock 4 to work with it (Or X360, Dualshock 3, or whatever console you are hooking)
