The 'i can run from' section is so perfect, Wuxian believing he can run from everything, Xichen constantly running from himself, JGY not even sure what he's running from. I appreciate Yanli getting a section and the clips from fatal journey! Both too often overlooked! This is beautiful!

what the FUCK this so good on every level? you packed a whole thesis on interconnected familial dysfunction into two minutes and thirty three seconds with impeccable timing and just- i can't pick a favourite section but the knock me up interlude was particularly lovely.

This is so on point. The cuts are amazing, the matching of the lyrics and the dysfunction of the various families brutal. I especially liked the subtle call out of our Lan brothers desperate to fill up the void in themselves "with anyone who'll have me." This song is just written for the Untamed. Excellent job.

i've watched this like six times and it literally gives me goosebumps, it's so so well done!! the cut to jin ling on "knock me up" is brutal, and i always feel devastated by the shot of yu ziyuan knocking wwx down with zidian on "me and my family, we're wonderful folks." this has SO much impact and so much nuance, i'm just blown away, i don't usually leave youtube comments but i'm sure this was a ton of work and i had to tell you how good it was!

genuinely the editing on this video is. absolutely nuts. it's so good. every single clip you chose perfectly meshed with the lyrics especially the bits with wwx and the "me, well i'm well, well i mean i'm in hell" bit and the fucking. "shut me up" transitioning into the guanyin temple crashing around jgy and wwx falling off the cliff at nightless city like. fuck! okay! also the song is just a bop in general but like. god. anyway the editing and the way the cuts go along to the music is honestly superb and i'm not sure why this doesn't have more likes, because it's quite good
