Personally I really liked Plane Jane’s look because both looks worked individually and The connection is her - She’s Russian but lives and works in Boston. So while I understand the critiques,the two opposite aesthetics are two parts of her identity. It’s really not that complex, but if you know those two things about her, you can at least understand why those two looks go together for her. So if the brief was Ruveal Yourself, I think it really does nail the brief.

I'm not even a Plane Jane apologist, but her look totally made sense to me - it's a representation of who she is. Regal, elegant Russian on the outside, bimbo from Boston on the inside.
