I grew up listening to the music of the ‘60’s and gained appreciation for music from earlier decades through my parents. I collected music until it became some mixture of fakery, stunts, sampling, and manufactured for the quick hit. With the exception of a handful, today’s singers don’t really sing...they have enhanced auto tunes, they do not play instruments, charisma is lacking, and all of their marketing must be fabricated. This...to distract from the obvious lack of true artistry. Many, not all, must have feuds, behave badly in public, leak a sex tape, or gain notoriety through some sort of unseemly behavior. Odd, decades ago, celebrities attempted to keep their dirty laundry secret. Not any longer. Having little or no talent is a badge of honor these days. Just look at how many no talent celebrities are millionaires. Kinda says something about the fans IMO. Sorry for the rant, I just miss real music. I miss creativity and innovation, people who could sing live, real talent....
