Cuz things you described are literal hell, and as for me will lead only to hate this languages..Not sure but at least step number 5 is useless, come on, I’ll find it really hard and maybe even impossible even watchin in my native language, and number four will work normally only w kids literature (not sure even with this, you can waste time lookin for related ones), sooo

​@@beinghere_1273i can personally vouch for first three steps, Obviously don't start with this but learn basic in that language then after 2-3 weeks of assimilating the most in your target language start watching show that you really liked and you already watched with the audio in english but the sub in ur language to keep picking up vocabulary, then when you start to feel more confident change the audio to in that language ( Yes it will be hard and you'll feel like you don't understand anything and it's not worth it but just keep having faith and don't give up). The more you practice the easier it will become and the more u understand the more u upgrade with more complicated series. But remember you never stop learning a languague even when you think you are fluent so just keep practicing it.

Whenever I lose the motivation or get overwhelmed, I remember why I wanted to learn the language in the first place. Whenever I hear something in particular in Japanese like great voice acting and how it feels to hear it in Japanese compared to English that boosts my motivation. Or when I hear a beautiful phrase or song being spoken in Japanese. The more you learn, the easier it gets. Just keep in mind, you never stop learning. You just have to reach a point where you are happy and go from there.

@@1polyron1 yeah motivation isn't a Problem for me! I'm extremely passionate about learning. Been in love with Japan since I was a kid. Always have selected Asian characters in video games, loved playing Japaneze games like Yakuza, and anything Samurai or mythology based. I've always seemed interested in their culture more than my Hispanic background. And I even cook their dishes from time to time. I recently made over 150 Gyoza and 40 Onigiris (not all at once) for family, friends and coworkers. I definitely love Japan and think I'm Japanese intenally 😭

@@AfroLinguo Wow, I didnt know that was a thing 🤣 Its something I started doing out of the blue in my teens. Yeah I related it to song learning cause Im a musician. Its like this... before I learn my part(which is drums) I learn the other musicians parts 1st(start with bass). Once I got their "context"(melody, chords, bass, etc) etched in my brain, then I can speak with my drums and compliment them with a musical conversation(beats and rhythm). In the case of movies and shows, scene story context would be the bass, harmonies, time, tone, articulaton and feels. I dont know, thats how my brain sees it 😝🧠 hope this little breakdown helps your journey too 👍
