1. Farewell to Kings 2. Xanadu (my favorite song ever) 3. Starstruck 4. Cinderella Man 5. Stargazer (my 2nd favorite song ever) 6. Cygnus X-1 Rush - 4, Rainbow 2 And Rising is my favorite rainbow album, and Farewell is my 2nd favorite Rush album (under clockwork angels and above hemispheres). Go figure.

I had both these !...so I can participate... I bought "Rainbow rising" when it first came out along with the "Ramones" first album because of a "Circus" magazine review on both of them (both great choices and with having no money and no job at 16...it was scary buying albums that sucked back then)..then I got that "Rush" album a few years later ... 1. Tarot woman 2. Run with the wolf 3. Starstruck 4. Do you close your eyes 5. Stargazer 6. Light in the black Well that's that ... 😐

This is great! Dio is my favorite vocalist ever. Stargazer, Heaven and Hell, and The Last In Line are my 3 favorite songs ever. Yes I’m biased towards Dio! I never knew Stargazer was Ralph’s favorite.

@@joehampson1076 the originals and alive has a special place in my heart funny back then I had to discover most stuff through US radio out of Rochester I think or buffalo even rush got more airplay in the US except closer to the heart came after in 🇨🇦

@zandig666 I love every Kiss album up to I guess lick it up (with the exception of Unmasked, it has a few good songs, but.. Rush is the same up to the mid eighties, then I kinda lost interest a bit. 2 of my favorite bands , for sure!

@@joehampson1076 cool I'm with you on all that !! 🤟🤟 I missed rush in their arena days what happened to arena rock 😢 hell I saw max Webster, Kim Mitchel, goddo and a few more bigger acts back then in arenas and bars. I have a neighbor that saw kiss in an old roller rink prob for kiss or hotter than hell in London On. He said he was looking for the exits 'cause the flames were lick'n (up lol) the ceiling 😆😆😆👏👏✌️✌️

Honestly, my picks are the exact same as yours (although minor difference is that I would say that "Tarot Woman" is a close win over the title track to "A Farewell to Kings" as opposed to what you said "not even close"). Also, both albums are my second favorite albums by the respective bands. Definitely a good battle.

Man I love Rush, but I drove 5 hrs each way, by myself, to see Blackmore's knight just to see Ritchie at least once in my life and I don't even care for Renaissance music. So yeah, Rainbow all the way
