Ive been playing the piano for 10 years now. This was one of the craziest piano things I've ever seen. I dont think many people know just how hard it is to machine-gun those octaves with BOTH HANDS at the SAME TIME. Seriously, it is in a completely different universe compared to where I am at.

Gotta say, I agree that those double hammer octaves are insane, like if Liszt went on an acid trip. Plus-! My lil hands would need serious stretch exercise to even attempt this thing, which I need to do to be cool in front of my students. I’m not worthy! 😭

Not to boast or anything (so to boast and anything) but I've been playing for 25 years and only in the last few I unlocked this kind of ability and yikes it's amazing to have this much control at these speeds. I think the biggest mistake I made for many years was trying to tell my hands exactly what to do. No. You tell your hands what notes to press and when but they do it on their own. Then they do things you would never have thought of.

You can tell this man dedicated hsi whole life to the piano being able to play at an insane speed. I am so impressed because he played this like this is an actual classical music piece, and i am so impressed. Apart from talent, i believe he worked hard. Perhaps hes the kind that sits down at the piano once he could, and that attitude is inspiring.

mmm at them same time someone who's looking for mistakes would realize that this could be possibly fake or maybe its meant to be a joke idk correct me if i'm wrong please do,However if this man is serious thinking i wouldn't realize that by going to 0:19 or 0:20 and at 0.25 speed and watching as after he plays the a notes with hands together and he lifts up his hands and a millisecond before he places them down you can hear a note and you might say that i probably wan't looking at both hands however its very clear to me as i watched over both hands with the same scene in repeat about 15 times i'm not blind to the fact that there was a random note played before he put his hands back on keyboard .Now I could be wrong because i haven't played piano for long also the damper pedal could be a possible option however damper pedals are meant to echo sounds not repeat or make new ones. if this is a audio problem i don't see how it is because the video is auto 1080p but if i'm wrong is reach out to me(reply) i'm new and still learning.and i think the rest is pretty convincing or just good in general. i will put a dislike until i'm maybe corrected -some new piano player;) (not trying to ruin ur day just pointing out possiblity's )

@@ninetailedfox579121 True, and I agree that talent (natural talent, specifically) is separate from practiced skill, but I'd like to add that when someone refers to someone else as "talented", they're usually referring to both inherent predisposition (genes and such) to being good at something, as well as their years of practice and experience making them better. I think the important distinction is between overall talent and natural talent. Like you said, though: even someone who works their butt off will never be as good as someone who is naturally skilled and applies themselves a fraction of that amount (unless they REALLY don't try to maximize their gift). The thing that often bothers me is when someone says a really skilled piano player, artist, programmer, writer, etc. is lucky to be so good at their job, and that they would do the same thing easily if *they* were as good, when the person they're referring to spent decades honing their craft and mastering their skillset, just to have it belittled to "oh you must have been born good, lucky you".

Not only so, they play different kinds of music, animenz only do covers of anime song and so far, his best/most popular arrangement is the legendary unravel, we haven't even seen the best of him as a CLASSICAL pianist. Well tbh I think that in music instead of comparing someone with someone you can only compare which song is better or which arrangement of a song is better. Art is subjective anyway.
