Hi everyone! I hope you enjoy my latest guitar solo lesson - this one has an exotic and odd vibe, but is really fun to play. In case you are curious, the scales used in this one are B Phrygian and B Phrygian Dominant. Thank you! I typically learn these solos (or relearn them) just for the video lessons... and then a month later, I start forgetting parts LOL Must be called getting older :)

@PDXguitarfreak I can't remember more than the few songs that I'm currently playing, that's why I was asking. Maybe that's normal, doesn't have to do with age. Thank you for all the song lessons. Love the channel

Great job! Alex is a favorite of mine. I learned Tom Sawyer and Red Barchetta a few years ago. Trying to play any of his solos with just the drums and bass for a backing track is hard as hell.

Hey mate, your videos are addictive, please don't do the prank again where you don't post anything for a month. I was feeling sick and two or three times a day I would check your channel to see what my new guitar lesson would be :) If you can, next time please post some thrash metal lesson, for example a nice solo from Testament

Kinda gives your right hand a break too! 🤘 Reminiscent of the lydian, phrygian, whatever... kinda thing in Don't Fear the Reaper... (It was the ultimate musical embodiment of evil for me.)(Perhaps not a 'good' thing to do in the realm of 'we can do it but should we do it' stuff...)
