Not a fan of Ram trucks ( I'm a Chevy fan) but for a 2019 with minimum damage & 3000 miles on the clock and with minimal effort, it will look awesome once it's done. I'm subscribing so I can keep up with this build.

I have never seen a automotive channel where the people involved take such care when it comes to rebuilding a vehicle (I have seen some channels come close, but never like this), in fact I soon realised that really good isn't sufficient for you two, it has to be more than perfect so that the vehicle ends up even better than when it came out of the factory. Very sharp looking truck very nice. Looks like a tracker most of them kill the vehicle so it wont move I've had them on my vehicle before their very easy to take out I've even took them off lots of other people vehicles so they can still drive without tracking or killing it

Hey, just a heads up. You won't be able to clear codes on any Chrysler product after 2018 model year without the factory tool. These cars have a secure gateway called the SGW which will not allow deletion of fault codes by unauthorized scan tools. My advice to you is to get a pass thru device like a Drew Technologies CarDaq Plus 3 and a laptop and subscribe to witech and tech authority. You'll be able to get it done that way.

depending on the truck if it has the air suspension or not some of the new Dodge Rams when your driving the truck at a certain speed it will automatically lower the vehicle to get better gas mileage

I would put the spare tire on the right front, instead of driving on the flat and possibly scratching the rim. The air bags will be expensive to replace. Looks like the truck is in good shape otherwise.

*could take the spare off and put it on in place of the blown tire so you could move the truck around like you need to and just get the tire replaced on the wheel as you can. man alive! that bed didn't look like it had that much water in it when it was outside*

The new Dodges dent if you sneeze too close. When I removed a back bumper on one of these, it felt like the remakes of the vintage bumpers aka China quality and they rust under within a week off the new lot

We bought one of these brand new and the whole passenger side has funky panned gaps. Even the headlight is aimed supper low on that side. I don’t think it was in a wreck I think its just bad build quality on the early production ones.

Good for you, bad for the previous owner. You could easily drive that for a while and still get a good profit from it, but with that low of miles I would just outright flip after your done with it as it's has maximum potential for profit and would easily attract a buyer looking for a new 2019, doesnt look too bad to fix havent tried skinning myself so be interesting to see you guys go thru the process.

I think the tire air stem is the only thing attached too the truck that's mechanical. I bought a 2005 ram brand new. Pre Fiat I have 85000 on it dealership maintained And haven't had one problem. This thing looks like a nite made.

Hey I’m just confirming that little black box you pulled is in fact a tracker. Those are dealer installed and are supposed to be disclosed upon signing, usually shady dealers do it for leases. Since the car was totaled you should definitely remove it and never put it back on

Weird the spare tire rim isn't a steelie...plus it doesn't match other rims. I like the rims it has on compared to spare rim. If they swapped out your tires...maybe they upgraded your rims lol
