In Dutch it's not 'een honderd en tachtig' as he says it, but just 'honderd-tachtig' ... Not sure who did the translation, but it wasn't a Dutch speaker, for sure :-) Still it's always cool to hear Bray call 180s :-)

In afrikaans (south african dutch) its eenhonderd en tagtig
@peterhoogland81952 жыл бұрын
@@afroafrikaner76 because 'een honderd en tachtig' is basically a transliteration of the German 'ein Hundert und achtzig' (although it also matches the English one hundred and eighty), but also because even his prononciation of the 'Dutch' version sounds more like German than like Dutch ...

@@eendjesman9723 Well, I'm flemish (so I speak dutch), and I can tell you, the first time I didn't recognize it, and the second time, it was like 'aaainhonder-dzerti(k)' The aaain (ein) was German, the honderd (but the d was too soft) I can understand it's dutch, and the dzerti(k) was more thirty in my eyes, and otherwise dertig. I think that he wanted to pronance eighty (tachtig in dutch, but it's unrecognizable as tachtig) in a more 'dutch style', but it was very bad. The other languages that I can a little bit were much more clear.
