When you're up against a struggle that shatters all your dreams....in 1982 I was doing my student teaching and felt like a failure, so much so that I was going to walk away from the dream I had since I was in 2nd grade. Every day that term I would come home and sing this song, over and over. He does inhabit our praise. Those lyrics helped me get through a devastating time in my life. But, God is faithful and He smashed the lies of the evil one. I am a special ed teacher today and can't imagine doing anything else. Thank you to Russ Taff for letting God speak through him in the powerful music he has sung over the years. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and always faithful!

GOD made a way when there was no way. I felt like an Israelite leaving Egypt when HE answered our prayers. This song taught me to praise GOD during the most painful, and fearful situations. HE paved the way with a lot of blessings during the process. He still keeps blessing us! Amen!!! It's because of who HE is!

This plandemic is satans work, the world belongs to satan after all. In the bible, that's why he offered the world to Jesus. You can only offer what you already possess. We know that his demons work hard in people who let them in. Manipulation, corruption, lies, robbery, drugs, all are futile attempts of satan to bring us away from God. But Jesus will win. So stay strong in your faith and focus on what is good and right. Nothing good comes from letting yourself be mentally imprisoned by satans desperation. Let him get all crazy, trying to destroy the world, the harder he tries, the more it's evident that he is losing. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the holy trinity, be praised!

Never heard anyone be able to sing this song with the same anointing that Russ can sing it with. Just my opinion. Awesome! God used this song for years to bring me out of the valleys.

My mother passed away last October, and she loved this song. She was in her local church choir for many years and sang on several albums, traveling around the world as part of a missionary family. She's now singing in that heavenly choir and sitting at the feet of Jesus...never again will she be sick, tired, weak, or sad. This was one of her favorites! Thank you Russ, and thank you Lord for inspiring songwriters to write lyrics and music like this that bring glory to Your name!

I want to say that you for this video. On November 5, 2017 my 2 year old grandson was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I felt such fear and anguish, his parents were terrified. It was so scary..I could hardly breathe...and I found this video. And PRAISE GOD!!! I began to just PRAISE THE LORD, I gave Titus to HIM that day. Titus still has diabetes, but he has been a huge blessing in this family. My whole family recognizes the love I have for this child. His daddy told me, Momma Titus has an agape love for you. HE knows JESUS and talks to HIM. GLORY TO GOD!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

I was on the tractor yesterday April 30th 2020 heavily oppressed listening to Ministry but had such a heavy heavy wait oppression this song came to mind I started singing this song out loud while on the tractor while bush hogging the shackles of Oppression the weight of Darkness lifted I started praising the Lord with my mouth out loud encouraging myself in the Lord with Holy Scripture with songs with praise and I had one heck of a glorious day liberated from the chains oppression depression darkness and despair. Had the privilege of seeing The imperials in concert in Bend, Oregon-1981 I was only 15 but the seeds that were planted were MIGHTY!!!! I got saved five years later!!! I went on to be a songbird for Jesus too!!! I would love to sing with Russ!!!

This is my life song. I started praising God in the darkest times of my life. A few months later God parted the Red Sea again and made a way when there was no possible way. My mom and my siblings was trapped in a violent, crazy, abusive home. It was terrifying! Then I found the Lord. I was HIS child. If you're a believer know that you are a child of THE MOST HIGH GOD!! For precious are we in HIS site. Don't let anyone tell you that you're not!! It doesn't matter what people may say or do!!

A timeless message this song is. Russ is not the only one who ever was up against a struggle. I preached a message this last Thursday afternoon and as I was speaking, the Holy Spirit reminded me that just like the children of Israel coming out of Egypt, we came out of bondage, entered the wilderness which is this life and we are headed for the promise land, "Heaven". They were headed for Canaan land. In this life we will have tribulation. Peter tells us not to be surprised when we face it. Remember just praise the Lord. Keep your eyes on Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. He won't fail you. He is not surprised when things happen to you. Continue on, keep the faith and stand for Jesus. In the end, you will shine in glory with Him. Praise the Lord.

I have this and 3 other songs sung by Russ Taff at the top of my playlist. I try to watch, listen or sing along to each song, to give me the strength to face each new day. The enemy is attacking me from all sides, but I know the victory will be mine thru Jesus Christ, My Lord and Saviour. I will just keep on praising the Lord as He is so worthy to be praised. Many chains have been broken, but I know more will fall powerless behind me and I will be totally set free. Hallelujah. Amen

I don't know why but I have been playing this song day and night for weeks now. We experienced a power cut for a week, and even when the power came back I picked up the CD and went straight to that song, so I am sharing it today. Whatever Russ does I love him dearly. He is one of those anointed singers that sings from the heart and brings you in to join him in praising God. I mean I can't say enough about this man. He is just one of a kind. This is my all time favorite praise song. I can depend on this song to help me through difficult times. When the way seems impossible and I don't feel like I can get a prayer through. This song reminds me that my breakthrough is in my praise. When I hear the song, the chains that bind me, actually drop powerless behind me. I can again feel the presence of God. Satan is indeed a liar. I am thankful for that reminder that there is victory in praise.

This song has such incredible meaning to me. My father was diagnosed about 1 and a half years ago with pancreatic cancer and he was given roughly 2 months to live. He fought for 17 months before he went home to heaven. This was his anthem throughout that fight. Despite the pain and weakness he always praised God.

I love your singing, appearance and Godly heart bro. I saw you in concert in the 80's, I think with Amy Grant. So glad I can easily get to listen to your music free online. When I prayed for Christians God wanted me to pray for them to have wealth and steadfastness. I hope you always have peace, joy, love and hope.

I have listened to this song too many times to count. We had the cassette tape and it was one of my favorite tapes and so anointed. Russ Taff has that anointing in ministering in song!!

Not one of us is what you could honestly say is “A Good Person”. Here, allow me to demonstrate. How many lies have you told in your life Hillary? What do you call someone who lies? A liar right…Ever stolen anything, even something small or downloaded something without paying? That’s a thief right? Jesus said,” Whoever looks with lust has committed adultery in their own heart “. Ever done that? If you have,I have bad news for you Hillary, you’re not a good person, you’re like the rest of us. And God sees you as a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart. And that’s only 3 of the 10 Commandments. If you were to die today (God Forbid) the Bible warns that you would go to Hell. Because God not only being loving and forgiving is ALSO Holy, Righteous and Just. No sin can be in His presence. Should rapists not be punished? Murders? Hitler?? Of course they should and we all know that. And how do we know that? Because God has written His law on your heart via your conscience. You know it’s wrong to lie, steal, murder. We all do but we have chosen to make bad decisions anyway in our life. A lot of ppl watch the criminals on the news and say,” Those ppl are bad.. not me!” We don’t recognize our sinful nature. But did u know that the Bible says God is rich in mercy? Do you know what God did for guilty sinners like us so we wouldn’t have to go to Hell? God became a man, Jesus of Nazareth and lived a perfect life that you and I could never live. And suffered and died on a cross taking the punishment for our sin. Rose from the dead defeating your worst fear…death itself. You may know that but u probably don’t know this…The 10 Commandments are called the moral law, you and I broke God’s law and Jesus paid the fine. That’s what happened on the cross. His last words on the cross were “It Is Finished” meaning the debt for your sin has been paid. If you’re in court with a stack of tickets about to go to jail but someone comes in and pays your fine the judge can legally let you go and still be just. Sin must be payed for. You know what you need? You need God’s mercy. To throw yourself on the mercy of the court so to speak. What you need to do is repent and put your trust in Jesus Christ. The moment you do that God promises to blot out every sin you’ve ever done and grant you Eternal Life. He’ll give you a new heart with new desires. I’m not telling you to join a specific church,I don’t want your money. I just care about where you’re going on that inevitable day when death closes your eyes. I hope you can see that. 🙂 “Now this is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light and there is Absolutely no darkness in Him” - 1 John 1:5

I have been listening to this REPEATEDLY during the past week!!! I should put it on a LOOP for the JOY, ENCOURAGEMENT, and INSPIRATION it has brought. It’s like some Hidden Dam of GRIEF burst wide open and EMPTIED itself to CLEANSE and RENEW the Spirit of JOY and PRAISE God wants us to have and EXPERIENCE in Him. I can’t THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! Then I also shared it with a group of friends ACROSS the Country... and the JOY and PRAISE SPREAD exponentially!!! What a GIFT this SONG, this SONGWRITER, and HIS DELIVERY OF IT has been!! This TRULY is THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING as it is shared. Praise God! ❤️🙏✝️
