Overall, it was a productive session however, I would have sat on the floor with him to be able to make better eye contact and have him feel like I was playing along with him as opposed to observing him.

She might not be able to. You don't know if she hasn't had surgery or has a physical problem as to why she can't.

Also, you let the child guide the session you don't insert yourself into the play. If they ask then do ask asked or instructed, but otherwise you don't.

some of my kids may tend to throw away the toys instead of playing with them. How can such kids be influence to respond positive ? reflecting feeling and knowledge....
