exactly, he just wants the stat assists. some of these plays he can just take it to the rim but jus makes bad plays and turnovers. very bad decision making, they lost to the thunder blowing 25 pt lead. those turnovers oso lead to the opponent scoring alot of points and lakers not yielding any pts. i mean he is a point guard, he needs change his decision making and craft. Hopefully he would, bcuz this is hard to watch even for a non lakers fan

He's 32 not a kid, many years in the league and as a PG should command the offense and not place a ball where his teammates can't reach - especially after practicing with them daily. He's always been a turnover machine, hiding these inadequacies behind triple doubles "well I tried hard!" Yeah but it's not translating to being an elite team because for every spectacular play, there are these types that undermine those efforts.
