@@joeydamisfit You must be young probably your first 2k was 2k17 or 18. I have been playing 2k from 2k6 and stopped playing after 2k16 after I couldn't take terrible direction it was going anymore. You will see it when you get older.

To them putting Digital Money and My team in around 2k13 and instead of innovation it became more about who can dump more money in the game to be good. So to you it is normal to see VC since that is your first 2k you grew up on which is fine. But VC is not acceptable when that is the whole game and it is either grind your whole life or pay $20 to have fun for a full price game. They are making 2K a long winded, not fun on purpose grindey game to make you want to BUY VC(bleed you for every dollar you have). Needing VC to make your my player or My team decent in a reasonable time to actually have fun in the game. 2k11 was the best basketball game made from 2k it even won awards outside of the Sports genre. The movement was good no sliding. Player sliding was added to defense in 2K12 and they never took it out for some reason. Zig zagging on Offense is strong in 2k now. They were no forced animation in 2K11 when it came to getting your ankles broke. If you went the wrong way on your own then the game would play the animation. Your my player was not bastardized to be only a role player with two or one things they are good at. You could actually reach 99 on all your stats. no stat cap limits when height and weight were involved. You could go online play with people without going on long wait lines and even in 2k13 you could do that. Now you have to wait a whole 10 min before you can even play a game. That does not even considering that the 2K community NOW cares more about their record than actually playing the game they bought. Mostly everybody just stands around not playing in My Park or at least get off the GOT NEXT line last second. 2K11 did have its own cheesy moves e.g. Spin dunks, lead passing, and 1-3-1 zone defense. But the game felt enjoyable because you actually felt like you were controlling your user controlled player. There is more I would write but I do not want to write more than I already did. I've played 2K before the game became more about product placement than actual good gameplay.

Next season?? Season is not even finished yet, let's see what happened in the 2nd half of the season... The Wizards is on a roll before the all-star break... They were 6-17 at the start of the season and now 8-3 the last 11 games

He got off to a slow start like this last season and before covid and his injury he was averaging 33 points shooting 53%, give him some more time because he's been playing pretty good recently not to mention he started off the year with an injury

I don't think it's about his weight. They implemented a rule few years ago that prevents players walking over the three point line and that was literally the moment his FT percentage dropped dramatically cuz it was his routine to walk over to half court before shooting free throw.
