Hello eveyone, Sanath here..the volunteer in that video. Yes, very unfortunate news coming from Adviika area, though they've paid a heavy price. The vehicle in the video has now been delivered to Yuriy and the battalion. Thank you everyone that donated. This new fundraiser is for 2x pick up trucks and an armoured vehicle. The fundraiser is going really well!! These trucks are SO important. When you drive from Kyiv to Kharkiv, the road is saturated with large trucks transporting people and supplies...as well as Pick Up trucks. They play a crucial role in this fight and it is an area where we can really help! Many thanks for you support.

@d3nza482
@d3nza482 Ай бұрын
Over-extension of Russian supply lines and troop and equipment attrition ARE a part of Ukrainian defense plan but not the main goal - it's falling back to more easily defensible positions while buying time for the weapons and ammo to arrive and for the troops to recuperate, mobilize and train. Ceding ground they have no intention of signing over means nothing in the grand scheme of things. It's just scorched earth to later simply drive over while driving out the Russians. The fact Russians are burning through men, tanks, armor, artillery and even aircraft and navy capturing 20-house villages is just a feature of them still fighting a lost and unwinnable war. Ukrainians have room to retreat to and still liberate the entire country once the enemy has spent its advantage in men and arms while their own advantage grows. Russians don't. To paraphrase a Russian propaganda line - there's nothing to fall back to, only Putin is behind them. Far behind.

Great update, thanks. As a Czech man, I'd like to point out it's no longer Czechoslovakia but the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. The CZ is indeed spearheading the initiative and took in the highest number of refugees per capita, while the Slovaks have been torpedoing all efforts on all levels (loads of talks, but thankfully no vetoes on the EU level). They have a pro-ruSSian PM and there's now a pro-ruSSian president-elect. The guy is a closeted gay who enjoyed some wild parties both at home and abroad, which would go down really well with the ruSSkies should they invade, as they did back in 1968. Anyways, we prefer not to be mistaken for the Slovaks. There's an upside, tho: well-educated, sporty and beautiful Slovak girls are now leaving Slovakia for Czechia.

Alright so there’s a couple of takes I want to add to this video. The first being that the Russians are using glide bombs, with a localized ‘10-1’ artillery ratio reported by Ukrainian General Staff. The sheer amount of forces combined with the glide bombs means Russia is unfortunately going to take settlements at the cost of major expenditure of resources. Both sides acknowledge they cannot win this war simply by attrition, the positional warfare we’re in is due to a need in technological breakthrough to regain maneuverability. Russia’s armed forces of May 2024 are unrecognizable to the forces pre 2022. They have emaciated their special forces regiments into standardized motor rifle battalions - it will take over a decade to reconstitute elite marine and airborne soldiers to pre 2022 levels. In may 2024 it is showing why Bakhmut was so necessary to be held, the Russians are effectively pinned in the East advancing at the rate individual soldiers can walk. Ukrainians armed forces just need to interdict the M-14 motorway and make it logistically untenable for the Russians to hold Crimea. Do not forget they blew the dam so Ukraine couldn’t advance across the Dnipro, which destroyed their own defensive lines. After all this aid comes into Ukraine mid June, we will see a fundamentally different force operating with F-16 air support. The Ukrainians do have manpower issues but they are making a million-man drone army, I cannot wait to see what Syrskyi and Budanov have in store :)

Or. domestic issues their country citizens are not going to support this war very much longer at the rate of losses same with the soldiers we're already seeing the beginning stages with soldiers and families of the Fallen protesting and complaining about lack of help and compensation even military payments are not being paid the soldiers fighting are going to have a rude awakening if they make it home and find that they have no help or veteran status

@@cameronspence4977 There is a limit, the economy supports the military, Russia has a huge war chest but it's not endless. They need staff working in the factories building munitions, tanks, vehicles etc and most importantly paying taxes. The more Russians die the less there are working in their economy the war chest money is the main reason they have been able to sustain these losses. Russia has the 3rd highest inflation rate in the world, and the future is looking bleak for them, they will be unable to continue at the current rate for much more maybe a year. According to mediazona, Russia lost 50k in 2.5 years of war. For comparison, in 2011 Russia lost 28k dead in car crushes. So no, their losses aren't horrific. And Russia is losing much less soldiers than Ukraine because of the huge Russian advantage in fire power

Do you think there's a reason why Ukraine stopped exchanging expired passports of their male citizens abroad while begging the EU to return them to Ukraine? Avdiivka was lost because Ukraine was over confident and botched the defence big time by not maintaining control over the H 20 & E 50 which they could have done with drones alone ( weather permitting) . But every day Ukraine yielded ground which did not matter because Avdiivka was impenetrable , till it wasn't . Avdiivak was the final place with good geographical defences so now there is nothing to stop the russian onslaught over the steppes . While Ukraine continues to blame lack of ammunition and not their actual defence structure they will never be able to halt the russian advances . A good general wins battles by using whatever weapons they have to their best advantage. A bad general looses wars because of the weapons they do not have . Ukraine has sufficient UAVs to not only halt the russian advance but to reverse it but they prefer to waste them in order to be able to publish the videos regularly shown here . Ukraine has on occasions used the UAVs en masse and achieved fantastic results but rather than making this the norm they would rather grift drones for the public so they end up in places where they are of less need and of far less advantage . Published figures , if actually real are now approaching 100,000 FPV UAVs a month and with those placed where needed there is enough fire power to hold if not push back the invaders

Well it looks like Ukraine is losing badly. They squandered their 2023 summer offensive by adopting old soviet style tactics resulting in unnecessary losses in material and men. Despite western training and albeit limited western armaments, the Ukrainians still seem to adopt typical soviet style methods. So unless the Ukrainians think outside the box and do something that is tactically spectacular similar to MacArthur's Inchon landing in the Korean war that breaks Russian morale and initiative, then it is a worthless slogging match ending in the Russian's gaining the upper hand.

You would need someone to have situational awareness to give close air support. The operator of a Reaper has the view of the battlefield like you trying to view it through a drinking straw.
