I mean let’s be honest , Ukraine was Russia once before. It’s not fair what is happening to Ukraine but it was once Russia. So the U.S. really doesn’t have any say with Ukraine and wants to get on Putin nerves… Putin is dangerous but the U.S. has a problem with supporting situations they don’t need to support at all. For example, Israel. Which was never there until the UN put them there in Palestine.

it was Russia's. Once. over 30 years ago. Its the people of Ukraine who decide who they belong to now. They say they belong to Ukraine. And you failed to even mention Habsburg Austria which owned a large portion of Western Ukraine. Does Austria not get a say? You see, The Soviet Union dissolved. Meaning they lost that land. Meaning all 15 newly formed countries are not Russia's. Legally, Russia has NO claim over Ukraine.

Ukraine has served their purpose in showing the Russian weakness in traditional warfare, AND they are NOT a NATO member. Let them cede the Russian occupied land in exchange for full NATO membership or let the EU buy weapons from USA for Ukraine to fight with ( heaven forbid they buy other make their own). As far as Israel goes, they are doing a fine job without additional US funding. Leave them to it without costing the US taxpayers anything else for Israeli weapons OR Gazan aid.

@@STaSHZILLA420Some of those 15 countries are NATO members which deserve US support, Ukraine is NOT. Therefore the best solution is to give full NATO to to the rest of Ukraine in exchange for ceding the occupied territory. This would benefit both parties and is what is known as a compromise. Saying it's my way or the highway is NOT a compromise AND it's certainly NOT the obligation of American taxpayers to fund Ukraine border security. Under Biden we aren't even securing our own border.
