The war in Ukraine is just part of the staging for the BIG event.
Russia has been on deck to mount a future invasion of Israel from the time of Ezekiel 2,600 years ago, writing down God's Word from ancient Babylon. The relentless grind of the prophetic gears continues unstoppably to this moment.
WATCH UKRAINE--but keep your eye on JERUSALEM. That's the REAL target that Satan will never stop until he ravages it at the END.
Jerusalem is God’s Countdown Clock for Humanity’s Survival
When Jesus told His disciples and us about the future he built every word of it around one spot on earth. In theological circles, this message (Matthew 24; Mark 13; Luke 21) is called the Olivet Discourse. Jesus framed His words about the rest of the history of this planet by the sight of Jerusalem in all its earthly glory spread in front of Him.
Look again at Christ's very first words in Matthew 24:2. All that He says about His second coming is introduced by those words. He said to keep your eye on Jerusalem. I am ascending from the Mount of Olives (the center of Jerusalem then and now) and I am returning to the Mount of Olives.
That is why understanding God’s plans for Jerusalem is key to interpreting God's Word correctly.

I think the war outlined in Ezekiel 38 and 39 is somewhat separate from Armageddon in Revelation. The defeat of Israel's enemies in the Ezekiel leaves a power vacuum and leaves it open for the eastern powers and those from European and western identities. The results of the Ezekiel War also has Israel cleaning up the battlefield for seven years. Israel will be very busy with other matters in the Tribulation period.

Reading here we see that armageddon as being the war of God and not the war of Putin or any other human being.

Many don't, but the ones that do just never expected to see it in their lifetime- but I did. I am 32, and when I was roughly 14, I asked my dad if he thought he would see the end of the world and he said he wasn't sure if he would, but he was pretty sure I would. Looks like we're seeing it together!

Ezekial chapters 38 and 39 happens near the beginning of the Tribulation. Armageddon at the end. Armageddon is fought between the forces of the beast, and Jesus Christ at his return to rule at the end of the tribulation. Russia will never reach Jerusalem.
