Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reportedly believes his generals are hiding the truth from him and has taken to shouting at them. An anonymous Ukrainian official told the Economist that the president has been clashing with the country’s generals. This was after allegedly sensing that he was not getting the whole truth about the frontline situation. Ukrainian commander, Denis Yaroslavsky, told The Economist that Zelensky “is being kept in a warm bath” that is, he is being told comforting lies by his aides. Yaroslavsky is a local commander who made headlines for complaining that fortifications that were supposed to prevent Russian advances did not really exist. Watch the video to find out more.

Zelensky must be out of his mind. He's losing it. In the first place, without the support of the West and the US, Zelensky is history. He's forgotten about himself. He was a comedian before becoming the president of Ukraine. He knew nothing about defense or military. Thereby, the West knowingly took advantage of his naivete, and the West needed to see how potent their weapons were good enough to counter China and Russia. Russia of Putin knew all that and warned him but wouldn't listen. At the beginning of this war, Putin didn't want to destroy Ukraine, but the West continued to urge Zelensky on. The rest is history.

0:20 No intention to offend Mr. Zelensky, but that reminds me of the movie 'Downfall'. However, I can say, in all seriousness, that if the war ends badly for Ukraine, I would rather see him start a new life in a different place, like Argentina, instead of fighting to the end and taking the entire Ukrainian nation down with him. Besides, after getting over the trauma of losing the war and ending up in exile, he could dedicate a couple of years to writing his memoirs. I'm sure they would make excellent reading, describing the war from his unique perspective while informing the global audience about how international politics really work at the highest and most rarefied level.
