Russian BMP explodes during attack on Ukrainian trench after being hit by FPV drone

A Russian BMP suffered a catastrophic explosion while attacking Ukrainian lines in Donbas. First-person footage taken from Ukrainian lines shows two Russian BMPs carrying out the attack. It is thought the video was filmed on the frontlines near Berdychi, to the west of Avdiivka. The two vehicles approach a tree-line where Ukrainian troops are sheltering in a trench. They open fire with their 30mm cannons, as the Ukrainian troops are forced to take cover. But then an FPV drone hits the second vehicle and it explodes, with a fireball going 50ft in the air. More footage reveals how the attack appeared from the FPV drone itself. While another from a nearby spy drone shows how the explosion looked from the sky. It is thought the footage was captured by the 25th Airborne Brigade.
They are helping the Ukrainian 47th Brigade and 3rd Assault Brigade hold the line in the area. #russia #ukraine #war

The Abrams Russia are showing in their videos as some triumph was hit side on, hit again, and yet at least three of the four crew got out alive on the video. Nobody thinks that those tanks are invincible, but they are waaaaay more survivable than anything the USSR or Russia builds. If that were a Russia tank the crew would be toast.

By the size of the explosion, the Russian “Cannon Fodder” sitting inside of the BMP must have been only carrying as much ammo as they could carry and left behind their backpack with food and water.

@morozzz2427 It's not even a 30mm cannon. It looks like a BTR-80 from a drone view which has 14.5mm. But even if it is a BTR-82A it doesn't have a 100mm cannon as well. It's not a BMP-3, lol.

People simply refuse to watch them because they want to believe Ukraine is winning. Same people who stood on the dots during COVID and thought they were heroes. BMP3 has 100mm rounds and little to no armor. this is what happens. the 30mm is actually a coaxial and not the main weapon

Are you sure? 🤔 If the 30 mm cannon is not the main armament, what is it then, in the BMP 3? I see nothing heavier. Normally no IFV carries heavier armament than a 25 or 30mm automatic cannon.

لابد انها مدرعة BMB-3 هذي المركبة عبارة عن مفخخة تحمل 10 جنود هذي المركبة تحتوي على مدفعين مدفع عيار 100 ملم ومدفع اخر عيار 30 ملم هناك عشرات القذائف من عيار 100 ملم مخزنة تحت البرج وسط الجنود والطاقم وهذي المركبة مدرعة بدروع ضعيفة جدا لدرجة ان مدفع عيار 14.5 ملم قادر على اختراقها فما بالك بالقذائف من عيار 76 ملم و105 ملم عند الاختراق تنفجر الذخيرة من عيار 100 ملم الموجودة تحت البرج محدثة انفجار هائل كما رئينا الان وسيقتل جميع افراد الطاقم والجنود من المؤسف ام الجيش العراقي تعاقد على 200 من هذي المركبات لقد عرف انها تشكل خطر كبير للجنود الذي يستخدمونها اكثر من العدو منذ اللحضة الذي رئتها فيها لاول مرة في الفرقة التاسعة في الجيش العراقي
