(farsh kolbasnyy) = sausage meat (orange label) (pashtet pechenochnyy) = liver paté (grey label) (ragu iz ovoshchey) = ragu of vegetables (teal label) (pyure iz yablok) = puree of apples (green label) (bekon armeyskiy) = ARMY BACON! (syr) = cheese (povidlo yablochnoye) = apple jam beef with beans and veggies (pink label) (kasha grechnevaya) = buckwheat porridge with beef (brown label) (frikadelki iz govyadiny) = beef meatballs (blue label) The first paper was the production date of sugar and the non-food items. December 2022. Also the extremely important GOST (government standard) number for the cutlery. You don't want a plastic spoon that hasn't been inspected by the government. How would you survive on the battlefield with rogue spoons? Personally I like your "grunt eats random rations found in a trench"-approach. As long as you don't confuse the chewing gum with the heating tablets, what could go wrong? making a second attempt to post this, youtube removed every cyrillic letter, and screwed up the formatting...

Thank you extremely for your terribly helpful details on these foods. I had them once in canned form in a Ukrainian MRE from 2022 I believe. Beef and kasha, beef and jelly, and...beef and buckwheat and something else?. Maybe beef tushonka. All three entree hard cans were beef though the 300g pates had pork. In my mind, the perfect things for MREs. Where in the United States can you buy these? Albanian Croatian Euro groceries in Bronx had some similar stuff, like many poultry pates and a beef goulash, but no kasha. Amazon prices are incoherent. So I guess need a Russian or Ukrainian/Polish grocery store, that does canned goods. I suspect I know places on Brighton Beach Avenue in Brooklyn, but that is the farthest possible away from me. Hoped for anything farther North, ideally Bronx or Westchester.

@@nichevo1 (Buckwheat) kasha is mostly eaten in Russia and Ukraine, so I'd guess it's less common in shops catering to south-slavs. Check any stores near you that sell kosher food, the jews who immigrated from Russia eat it too. Be aware that what is called "kasha" can - depending on country - be any kind of grain, not just buckwheat.

In Russia, we consider these mre to be far from the best. The food rations of the Russian Guard (mvd or police), which you reviewed later, are quite high-quality and tasty. As far as I know, there are only 3-4 menus, but they are all quite tasty. So I recommend buying the rest, if not for a review, then it will definitely go somewhere hiking or fishing. Good luck to you!

I absolutely love this I feel like I’m on a mission 🥸 like a day in the life of a soldier and it’s informative on how all soldiers stay and are energized throughout the day. Honestly the best saying is coming to mind that I was raised by which I’ve learned from my grandfather a vet soldier of the Royal Air Force from 1940’s in England “Eat to live not live to eat” and he raised all of us with the saying and all the men in my family were/are soldiers in the US military . I really want to get into yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️ for year I did Pilates and moved to Kickboxing and stopped as my 2 kids got older so now I just go to the gym a few times a week but I need to adjust my caloric intake so I can see major improvement 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 anyway let me continue watching . Thanks for these videos as all the soldiers have meals that you need down to a science 🧬

Greetings! That’s awesome honestly, as I’m very intrigued by that sort of stuff. Let’s just say, I’m personally very familiar with the machine 😉👌🏼 One of my favorite platforms and it’s very popular here in America..believe it or not. We have an import ban, so although available older models, the newly made stuff is from countries like Romania and Poland. I’d love to try the AK12 I hear good reviews..they build clones here but they are very rare and super expensive.

@@Bravebelly I am not particularly well versed in this topic, but quite a lot of military personnel on the front line prefer the AK-74M more than the AK-12, pointing out a number of disadvantages of the new platform, for example, a lot of poorly joined metal parts, low quality plastic parts, faster contamination and less convenience when cleaning, simply put, the AK-12 so far, it is quite "raw" and is being finalized at the moment I am glad and feel a certain pride that the products of our productions are so popular on every continent✊

@@endless1823 yes I heard that also. Usually the first iteration goes through its “teething issues” I like the polymer stock and polymer hand guard. It’s usually lighter and doesn’t get hot as fast. (If it’s a high quality polymer)and of course the rail on the hand guard for a light and/or laser is nice. No need for modification. The railed top cover is awesome because I’m not a fan of the standard side optics mount (it’s just adding more weight)

Videos began to appear much more often. Won't you get fat? :) 1:48 minced sausage and liver pate 2:59 vegetable stew and applesauce 5:23 apple jam. I wouldn’t say that we really like apple jam: it’s just a cheap sweetness 6:04 beef with beans and vegetables. 6:29 It’s correct that you drink your drinks cold. 6:38 your favorite buckwheat porridge with beef. 6:44 beef meatballs. 7:22 cream powder. Instant. 22:05 I don’t know what flavor it is 😄 it says “Fruity freshness”. our soldiers have already discovered this taste and mix cheese with jam. It's funny. Thank you for the video! The combination of pork fat and buckwheat was brilliant. I imagine how tasty that was. You know how to enjoy your food bro. A friendly advice. You pour too much water into the cold beverages. Next time try to pour 1/3 of the water you usualy do. The taste will be more dense :)

Thanks for the tip. I will try it with less water. Although tbh, it’s hard to get Russian products now because US customs opens the boxes and takes the main meals with meat..they say it’s not approved. They’re just doing it on purpose to make it difficult doing business with Russia because I get MREs from other foreign countries and they don’t even check 🤬

My guy, you sound humble and open to polite critique. Count up all the times you say "guys" in this video, and next time, say "guys" one tenth as much. "Guys" used all the time whenever you want to take a breath or think, it's just filler. You don't have to use another word, like "folks" ir whatever, just pause, don't say any word, just say the next thing you were going to say. If you need the time to shift gears, just pause, then aay the next thing. I understand that one usually needs more pauses because in an N-way conversation, you don't deliver a monologue. But now you are delivering a lecture, or performance, diacouraing on the nature of this White Star MRE. Btw do you know sources of such foods in the United States? Of canned or retorted tushonka, kasha, whatever? Was very impressed with Ukrainian 24h MRE.
