6 жыл бұрынThe D20 is a Russian Gun-Howitzer and our latest acquisition. The largest live firing gun in civilian hands, it is considered the “Ak47” of Russian artillery. It has both an indirect and direct fire application. The short barrel paired with a 152mm caliber projectile results in a massive flash and bang. Without a doubt, it is our most impressive weapon to shoot, and will be available soon for our customers.

Nice to see that gun at civilian use. I trained with same model at my military service one time. Seems like they are shooting inert practice grenades (no detonator and explosive material). We had high explosive fragmentation grenades (weight 57 kg) and separated shell casing holding the cordite. Also seems that they are with shooting low amount of cordite. It was fun to shoot, specially direct fire targets, but this model has been out of service now for years. a grenade was absolutely devastating for practice targets.. 7 kg of high explosive, 50 kg of fragmenting material and impact detonator.

Out of this gun the Yugoslavs (read Serbs) developed the NORA M84 152mm howitzer.

Hm. It would probably be simpler to modify the action and simply load the gun with a projectile and a packed load VS having brass as well.

not exactly, Ml-20 artillery gun was used on Isu-152 and Su-152, d-20 gun was mounted on 2S3 Akatsiya with little different modification to fit the self propelled artillery
