Russia basically invented the IFV... and the design hasn't really changed since! Today, we take a trio of Russian Light Tanks that includes the BMP-2M, the BMP-3 and the BMD-4!
The BMP-2M is notoriously one of the best vehicles pound for pound in War Thunder. With the highest rate of fire 30mm out of the three this thing is also equipped with Gen 2 Thermals and 8 ATGM's that can be spam fired and also fired on the move!
The BMP-3 is probably the least viable of the three. A slower rate of fire 30mm and a barrel fired ATGM that takes a long while to reload make it tougher to fight enemies on the move.
The BMD-4 is a much faster chassis than the others. With an incredible forward and reverse speed it hasn't has amazing mobility. The barrel fired ATGM can be reloaded in 4 seconds which makes it much more viable to use!

The scouting has a desync problem. It doesn't matter which bind you use. I get scouts through buildings sometimes and sometimes I can't scout vehicles right infront of me.

It almost seems af is scouting through objects tends to work better than scouting clearly visible targets sometimes. :/

Yes it us so weird. If a target is like a kilometer away and moving I can click perfectly on scouting and it doesn't work but the scouting the target behind the mountain from 2 km away is no problem at all

You have to wait 1-1,5 seconds before you use the scout, especially if you're gonna be SPAMMING the button. I just noticed I'm watching a 2 year old video but the issue still exists so...it's fine.

I think the scouting issue is an issue with the game and not with your mouse, I've been having troubles with using the default V myself, might be worth giving a rebind a test. If it turns out to be a more universal game issue, maybe tell gajoobles that they've done a fucky wucky

Can confirm this. Sometimes I can spot people completely concealed with only an antenna peeking out of cover, and other times I press V on someone in plain view and the game decides that I don't get to scout.

@@KBDFProductions Nono, I'm not talking about how inconsistant it is, that's another issue. What I'm talking about is something that's been an issue for the past month or so, where you hit the button to scout but the game doesn't even register that you've pressed it.

I want to see you play the pain lineup at 8.0 USA with any combination of the T95E1, T54E1, Sheridan, and M60A2. Please give me hope as I arduously grind out the lines.

8.0 is not bad once you get the Bradley and m60a1. Sheridan and m60a2 should really only be backups

@@steveshumate1983 Right, but I'm saying those specific painful 8.0 vehicles from the island of misfit toys. They all check one or more boxes of heavies up-tiered until their armor doesn't matter, mediocre rounds, low mobility, etc. I even like the T54E1 as an idea, but its just clumsy at 8.0 in War Thunder. But they all have tons of charm and coolness factor.

The lineup that would be 9.7 US 🥲 BMP2M is ridiculously OP, at 8.7 it's one of the most fin tanks to play. It can nuke anything any BR through the front 😂

Tanks with laser rangefinders do it automatically now. You just have to press the button you have bind for range finding and done! :) The game is playing its self now.
