If you read this message, you will know 5,000 Russian words. If the English word ends with -tion, then change the ending to -ция (-tsyia), and the translation will be the same. For example: Nation - нация (natsyia) Constitution - конституция ( konstitutsyia) Transaction - транзакция (tranzaktsyia) Formation - формация (formatsyia)

AMAZING!!!! Keep it up. I'm so glad this helped. Everybody learns reading at their own pace. That's why I made these videos for my students so they could do it over and over again on their own and not be embarrassed in class if they weren't learning as quickly as everyone else in the class.

Thank you, this was excellent. I tried reading Russian repeatedly. First a book I already knew in Czech (Незнайка). Then articles at Wikipedia. I never bothered to learn azbuka. I lately got the feeling I finally figured it out, and I must proudly say that so far I got it right, based solely on words that reminded me of Czech or international. I think there must be more characters though? Time for more listening.
