I found this video on Facebook and wanted to share it. I do not own the rights to this, I just wish to share this with people to show that veterans, regardless of which country, need to be remembered and respected. The opening song is called "Eternal Flame". The closing song is called, "Farewell of Slavianka."

So i ask, if you support american troops, Do you support bombing the shit out of children that already has close to nothing? To ruin someones country so bad they'd rather try to cross the seas in desperation, to steal their natural resources to make a profit, American warfare is disgusting, And people are too fucking stupid to realize they're getting played and brainwashed, thinking this american war machine is justified Because of terrorism. This video was uploaded to KZfaq in 2015. It is not the original video. Kalashnikov died in 2013. He was a Lieutenant General. The man in the video is wearing Colonel insignia. Therefore the man in the video cannot be Kalashnikov, although he looks similar. He might be an actor or a real Colonel General. It doesn't really matter, it's still a lovely video. Those soldiers dont know how happy they made that man. A Christmas alone with nothing but the uniform and memories of friends that exist only in the heart with vodka is tragic... Those youngsters ensured he knew he wasn't alone and that the motherland can sleep soundly along with himself knowing the torch has been passed and mother Russias borders are secure. The feats and deeds of his comrades and himself will not be forgotten, they live on to inspire and set examples to the future generations of Russian service members and in that, they'll never pass away or expire. There's an American saying I think fits well for that man "I regret that I have but one life to give for my country" God Bless and may we always continue to honor our veterans and soldiers!

Thank GOD for Russia where the young respect the elders, specially if they are war veterans. it didn't take them not even a minute to make this old soldier feel alive and respected. I understand him, I'm a veteran of a forgotten war, all my friends have died, I remember seeing my friends falling down to a hail of bullets and I'm still alive. life is not fair.
