I miss when rust was really creepy. Dont get me wrong it can still have a few scary moments like when you are out in the dark and desperatly want to get home, or when you are hiding in your house with someone walking outside but the old atmosphere is gone.

I was anticipating the video to end with a fleshy SPLAT sound, and a "You were killed by xxxXPLAYERNAME420Xxxx with a bolt-action rifle" message to appear with the sounds of approaching footsteps in grass.

I was only 14 years old when play this game for the first time, my campfire, fear, tension, first house good times. Today I am 17 years old and playing the new rust.The time passes fast this game had been milestone in my memories forever.

I remember when i always heard people outside of my home, man, those where scary moments! And if they talked too you, you almost knew that it was going to be bad!

I will always remember this as my first encounter with Rust. I didn't myself play the game for a lot of time but I remember this very song when I first heard it and it got stuck with me ever since then, that by now should be atleast 6 years ago.

Something in this game other than normal is like recreating the old memory of another world or something already forgotten is transcedental as if a world of rust really existed and all of us players were part of it.

Surprisingly Rust gave me such a good vibe on my first days of playing and I realize that's what hooks you in, first impression is important and Rust did just that for me. The soundtrack, the gameplay.. I remember on my first day I would run in pitch dark and see torches in the distance, I would unite with the ppl and just run without a goal. Once it became morning, we've got greeted by 2 armoured guys and they would drop us some items. It was such a nice experience, from then it went a little downhill.. meeting people that would do all they can to betray you and take all your shit. I still like the game and will always support it, because it's unique and you can see that a lot of time and effort has been put in this game.

The game just isn't the same boys. It isn't bad, but the feeling of isolation and desolation are eroded. RIP Legacy/2016 rust.
