7 ай бұрынWelcome to today's video, where you saw the renovation of an old railway signal lamp with a winged wheel symbol.
The winged wheel is a symbol of railway transport, but also a symbol of progress, industrialization and industrial prowess.
The symbol of the winged wheel first appeared in 1835 on a silver tolar minted by King Ludwig I of Bavaria for the ceremonial opening of the 1st German Railway from Nuremberg to Fürst.
In 1846, the symbol was used on the uniforms of Bavarian railway officials.
And 3 years later, the winged wheel became a symbol of the railways.
And that's all for today's video.

Очень интересна история железнодорожных фонарей, от старых масляных и керосиновых до современных, мощных, электрических. Во все времена, пока существует железная дорога, фонарь был и остаётся незаменимым помощником железнодорожника. От правильного его использования, а также технического состояния во многом зависит безаварийная эксплуатация железнодорожного транспорта. Спасибо за хорошую работу и историческую справку.

Amazing… Great work. As a suggestion: the emblem could have a bit of a gold touch! And would like to the Lateran light up! Also the glass seems a bit rough, the edges could be polished to avoid safe usage to the human hands! Looking forward to the next one… and pls don’t cut the restoration videos, as everyone is expecting detail and more in depth analyses.

Parádní,lampu používaly železničáři při práci v kolejišti a na trati.Verze pro návěštění měla z boku krytky na zaclonění barevných skel.Dekuji za péči o předměty denního užívaní.

Thank you. Yes, the death of a loved one is always saddening, and one has to come to terms with it because it would be a pain. Suffering cannot return a close person. It's sad and certainly difficult, but life goes on ... A friend remains in our hearts and in time you will remember him with a smile on your face because of all the beautiful things you experienced together. Take care my friend :)

Привет из Петербурга! Радек и Вероника, спасибо вам за очередную отличную реставрацию и интересный рассказ. Я видел такой же фонарь в Германии в 1990 году, только там был комплект со сменными фронтальными стёклами разного цвета (красное, синее и прозрачное). А ещё в России да и во многих странах крылатое колесо так же является символом железных дорог.

I find the lamps design to be interesting, that's the first time I've seen where the fuel chamber can be removed from the lamp. The built-in clip is also a nice feature Veronika's history lesson on an actual train engine was a nice effect as well.

Make a cup of tea no milk no sugar. and use that to remove burn and smoke marks from glass and metal. Cheaper and more effective than a spray product. Nice video

What a wonderful little lamp. I haven't seen wood burnishing done with sawdust to much lately. But, I like the way the wood comes out when it is used. My mother acquired small a bedroom kerosene lamp that has a porcelain decoration of flowers on it behind the chimney as well as on the porcelain lamp itself. It hangs on the wall. The lamp is detactable. Pull it out of the clip. Has a flat bottom to it. Have you seen anything like this? Great vedeo? ❤😊

Hezká lampa, hezká renovace. Nádherná 310.01.02 Kafemlejnek. Ještě k lampě, mívala i červená skla? Ta se prý používala k signalizaci mašinfírovi aby zastavil. Tzv . Stop, zastav všemi možnými způsoby. Signalizovalo se krouživým pohybem lampou. Pavel 🇨🇿

To souhlasí Pavle, myslím, že ty o kterých píšeš byly o něco větší, ale konkrétně tyto používal průvodčí ve vagonech . Mám doma jednu signalizační a ta má na straně zásobník na barevná vyměnitelná skla. Díky za shlédnutí . Radek

Another beautiful piece! Have you thought about putting some of your pieces in a book or videos, with before and after photos along with a short how to. It would make a beautiful coffee table book. I would purchase it! Keep up the beautiful work. Thank you.💜
