Rustler 4x4 VXL 1st Run at Local RC Track

There is an RC track near where I live so I decided to get back into RC. This is my first time going to an RC track, and also driving a brushless, Lipo powered, 4x4 RC car(First car was Bandit XL-5). I meet lots of friendly people at the park and had a great time.

The difference between this version & the 2s Brushless version is huge the VXL 3s version is a lot faster & has way more punch. Sounds like you had a Nitro car on the track with you. It just takes time using it to get a good feel for it just keep taking it out in a open area & get a good feel for the speed & turning etc. Then find smaller jumps to start to get a feel in the air learning when to use throttle or brake in the air controls how it lands. When I first went out with bashers I’d nose dive because I’d let off the throttle but too much & you loop out just takes time. 👍

Run 2s battery on track. You will have more control 👍 3s for bashing and speed runs.

Once you swap them tires out to a better tread, you'll be much better off, those are much better on road tires, no idea why they came on these, they came on my VXL Ultimate to.

@@NoodlesNJ1what are some better tires? I am a newb so I think the stock tires are pretty decent 😅
