Back in 1988 Rusty Wallace fired up a Busch Series team with his brother ‪@KennyWallace36‬ as the driver. Kenny raced out of THIS building at the very beginning of his NASCAR career. He has not been back inside since '93! Rusty sold the team to Felix Sabates of SABCO racing who ran Kenny in the cup series for one year before letting him go to FILMAR Racing, where the former shop can be found in part two below!

These people were caught off guard with a rolling camera when we walked in 😂After this we went to the former FILMAR Racing shop where the famous Red Dog and Square D cars came from! Kenny just walking in out of nowhere into that shop introducing himself and talking.. reminds me so much of my dad and uncles when I was a kid who wherever they went or shops they went to or whatever would just walk in and start talking and introducing themselves "never met a stranger" type vibe.. I love it and glad you keep that stuff in these videos

Kenny should be a re-occurring guest host on the channel. He's an excellent tour guide and first-hand historian. That, and he doesn't "make phone calls or haggle around--[he] just walks in and says 'hey, get outta my shop!'" 😂

I’ve never met Kenny, but I met his brother Rusty at a motor coach convention once, he was sponsored by Prevost car at the time, and he was at their booth. Nobody was even standing by him. I walked up introduced myself and we talked for a bit mostly about his ASA days and racing up in Minnesota at elko speedway and the state fair track. My wife was not with me at the time ( she was back at the hotel) she was a huge rusty fan, I asked rusty to call her and say hi. Which he was happy to do, she thought it was somebody else that was pulling a prank but quickly realized it was him it was hilariously funny. She still talks about it to this day. Great stuff, keep it up. Thank Kenny for his tour it was awesome

I grew up in St. Louis from '70 to '99 and have lived in Orlando since. Best decision I ever made, but I spent a lot of time on Old Sugar Creek Rd in Fenton. Kenny is a very good example of the old school St. Louisian I remember. Funny, "The Man" shirt means a lot to anyone from the area. There are no fans like Card's fans.

Hey Mitchell, this was another great video with the great Kenny Wallace. He really shines at moments like this it's nice to see the sincerity of the stories Love the mindset, history and emotions he shows. I have to say I always liked Kenney as race car driver, especially during his Cup years. All of his tv time, interviews and the announcing that he did back in the day. Much respect. With that said, I also have to say that I've tries but can't get into his KZfaq channel. But again, great job here. Thanks to you all.

Great video. I have always liked Kenny. The first scene gave me a great memory. I remember standing right there and looking down at that shop. And one of Kenny's Dirt Devil cars is sitting right in front of the first bay door. As I get the courage to walk down to that office. And hand them my Resume'. Trying to get my NASCAR career going. But that's another story. Thanks for doing these great videos. I'm so glad it's getting big for you guys. It's so cool to see Kenny's enthusiasm and energy for these videos. It's pretty darn cool to keep getting these background stories about his career in Nascar. You can hear the emotions just flowing out during his commentary. My family has always been Kenny Wallace fans. He actually called my son on his birthday years ago. I answered the phone and didn't believe it was really him. I hung up, he called right back and said No, no, no, I really am Kenny!! Anyways he spent probably 3 or 4 minutes on the phone with my son and wished him the best birthday ever. And it's a memory we keep to this day. Anyways, thanks again folks for another great production!!

Another very interesting video. I laughed about your comment near the end of the video when you said that Kenny has made your job a lot easier to do the last two segments. He doesn't require much prompting to launch into more interesting stories. Visiting his old shops in the last two segments was fun to give him a chance to reminisce about his career in NASCAR. I'm still a fairly new subscriber but intend to look back at your old videos. (By the way, it added a lot to intersperse the video with the pictures of Kenny's cars from that time -- even to the extent of one with Kenny's toolbox in the background.)

I don't know if they even allow cameras in their shop, but the one I would really like to see is Dale Jr's late model shop. Carson Kvapil is winning everything. I think he is there every day. I remember when Robby Moroso died in a car accident. Robby was born and raised here in Connecticut and all of us race fans were so excited to see him go south to race. Dick Moroso (Robby’s father) was never the same after the loss. Thanks for the great videos Mitchell and Logan.

I definitely enjoy all your videos but something when you have Kenny in the videos is just wow. Such a great talker and so much knowledge sharing is awesome. And this is just so cool how you all just stopped talked about this shop to going right inside and telling these stories so cool. Keep it up.

How awesome it would be to get Dale Jr, Mike Davis, Kenny Wallace, Darrell Waltrip, Jimmy Spencer and a few other great Nascar members together to sit and tell stories from the past

I am from Belgium, we don't have Nascar here but i was in Daytona in 1996 and i fell in love with Nascar. You also seem to have really nice weather in South Carolina.
