Ruthie, your chevelle looks absolutely awesome. It is not actually even in the same class of a car. It is a muscle car, and the pumpkin mobile is a hot rod type of vehicle. Personally I like all three and they all rock. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations Ruthie! You know you can go look at the best of show winning model at any contest - talk to the builder - and they will always be able to point out something they would have liked to be better than it turned out. You were awarded and got in a magazine to boot! Enjoy it. Have fun with it. The lil pumpkin truck is proof that doing more makes you better. You will always remember the fun, the people, and the time you spent with your dad. And - there's a good chance you will blow the minds of future coworkers, your kids and many others that you did this. I'd love to see the look on some special guys face in the future when you blow his doors off with your painting ability... I know your dad will be laughing! Thanks for sharing - both of you!

Way to go Ruthie, GREAT BUILDS. Ruthie remember these times your dad spends time with you. Learning something from your dad is fun and important. Looking for your video on the Corvette build. I am sure I will find something to help me in my Corvette build, all 925 + kits. Most all still factory sealed. Ruthie keep learning, try new processes always a learning process. Congratulations! I know what an amazing feeling it is. About 10 years ago I made their coverage of the NNL East. I had models photographed before but not make the cut. When I finally saw it on the page it felt like a huge accomplishment. Way to go!

Spoken like a true modeler... critical of her own work. I think her Chevelle is an excellent example... I may be partial to green Chevelles though, mine is the weathered 67 Pro-street in the Fourm Finds section. Rock on Ruthie! I hope you continue to build for many, many years.
