乾隆一死，那盆枯死已久的綠梅終於盛開然後鏡頭轉向了青櫻走來的畫面這代表著只有當弘曆從皇帝這個身份中解脫後才能跟青櫻有著美好的結局與愛情唏噓啊

個人有些不太認同。無可否認，四阿哥當上皇帝後，權力令他性格澎漲腐朽，壓力困難也令他疑心重不相信人，這些都可以理解。但我並不相信如果他沒當上皇帝，他就不會做出種種令如㦤心死的事，他本性如此，困難為難的事每個人都有，但大部分人遇上困難時會為了自己而傷害別人, 但也有少部份人會跟随良心行事，那怕這樣可能令自己 ‘吃虧’ ，正如如㦤即使做了皇后也從來不做傷天害理的事。這不只是戲里，在生活也有像乾隆和如懿的人，如果那人的品格是好的，即使做了高位也影響不了多少，但如果他骨子里就是個涼薄自私的人，只要遇上某種誘惑試探，他的劣根性就只浮出來.

What Ruyi did was the punishment to the emperor, by cutting herself from him. She didn't just cut her hair but she cut the love and promises they both had for each. And the emperor deserved that kind of punishment for taking Ruyi's love for granted.

Shut up. If she truly loved him she would never have done such a heinous crime as i probably think she knowed what will happen to him after she does that. So, she kind of murdered him by loneliness and sadness. No matter what he did to her one should never do something which will result in someone's death especially when that someone is the one you once loved because it will prove that she didn't loved him. And one doesn't gain the right to do something which will eventually result in the death of someone just because she suffered so much. She is just a bitch. Why don't you put yourself in the emperor's place and see how much hurted he was. Will you still favor her. Then put ruyi in emperor's place and vice-versa. Now do you favor her. If you do then you are a lowly creature who discriminate against gender. Obviously, as you are female maybe thats why you favor her. So my whole point is that he didn't not deserved any kind of punishment. She should not have been a baby and told everyone about her tuberculosis!

@@carrotbunny5123 Isn't the cause of ruyi's death is tuberculosis. Even if she was hurt and depressed she should have told everyone about her tuberculosis. That way she would not have died. And emperor realises his mistakes and therefore lived like a lonly old man regretting what he did.But after a certain period he doesn't deserve any further suffering. That is what i believe and should get a happy ending.

By your logic the emperor kill them all. He secretly gave Consort Shu a potion that made her barren so when she do get pregnant, her son was so weak and died only because she is the consort that was offered by her mother. And Consort Shu love him truly. No, He deserve the loneliness that he got for taking someone for granted. Her tuberculosis could not be helped and she does not have much time left. and the fact that she could never leave the palace and dont want to be empress anymore, death is much preferable. You said Ruyi should put on his shoes. Well why dont do the reverse, the emperor put himself on the ALL concubine’s shoe and feel what its like to live in fear of being poisoned to death all the tome, being burdened by clan reputation, dealing with even more scheming that he already dealt as an emperor. The emperor realizing his mistake, he never even apologiZe. All he said was “let bygones be bygones and forget the past” NO! People can forgive but never forget. Ruyi forgive him but she never forget, thats why she does not want to become empress anymore. She did not trust him or the harem life anymore. Obviously since you are a male, you dont know, and will never ever know the pain of being a woman. Cause many of you always took your power for granted and think woman as possessions or toy just like the emperor.

Wow Yasser why don't YOU shut the hell up. The Emperor was a terrible person. PERIOD. Gender has nothing to do with it. He treated her terribly when all she did was love and try to support him. And he never believed her for all the wrongdoing that was done against her by others. Most of us are on her side for those reasons and I can guarantee you that if the genders were switched we would STILL be on the side of male version of Ruyi. But of course you jumped to conclusions about "females" (the term is WOMEN by the way).

「早知如此，何必當初」乾隆其實比誰都更明白，所以也坦然的接受自己成為實質上的孤家寡人，收起的手帕、斷法、枯梅，甚至是每一次跟如懿吵架後，都可以看到乾隆的表情帶著一絲懊悔，是憤怒後的一絲清醒，但從小的身世造就了他的性格，自卑善妒多疑，使他堅決不肯向任何事任何人低頭，說穿了也就是好面子，他也知道一次又一次把如懿推遠了吧，但江山易改本性難移，有些時候，人的反應往往都照著自己的本性習慣來去做，所以事後才會反悔

What gets me is the fact they both died, seperated from one another, alone, in a chair, thinking of each other until their last dying breath. They're meant to be together, just not in that setting. I'm chinese, didn't understand this so I asked my parents. The emperor has lived long and old to regret the day she cut her hair, so he cuts his hair in return before he dies as a token of apology and redemption. My parents say this is a good thing, because this means they will be together in the afterlife, or perhaps another life where they can both be at peace with their love. Basically, the hair Ruyi left behind was also a sign of, "I'll be waiting so we can join again another time. Just not here. " The budding of the green cherry tree symbolizes the rebirth of their love story, to which we all thought was dead. Perhaps they would've had a better love life if it were not for the imperial life. The palace is a dangerous place, I wasn't surprised the emperor suspected her. We all know the people you trust the most can hurt you the worst. He's an emperor, he's not limited to flip only one woman's tag, Ruyi even said that. We all hate how he wasn't loyal but seriously, it's a harem. It was normal back then and even the empress shouldn't hold hard feelings if he sleeps with other women. Ruyi knew she was going to die of Tuberculosis, she probably didn't want to be his Empress knowing she'll die. She could've done this in consideration of the love between her and Emperor. We all know they both still love each other, so I assume her cutting her hair just meant she didn't want to be with him, not in this hectic setting. He died alone, but I feel like after Ruyi's death, he couldn't accept another woman in his heart the way he did with her. Her burial was standard because technically she dropped out of ranking, but she was always buried in his heart which I find is a bit better. This is my interpretation, I may be wrong. Despite this, the emperor is still the biggest douche. He honestly deserved karma.

It's not odd for him to not be loyal, a harem is a custom back then :/ Despite how he treated her, she still loved him but she was broken to the point she didn't want to go back with him. It shows in spite of everything, Ruyi respects herself more than to toss herself at the Emperor for love and luxury. There are many ways to interpret it, I'm not saying my interpretation or my parents is the right answer. Edit: Imagine if I'm 71 and called young huhuhu (I'm a teenager tho 😂)

No the part you got wrong is thinking she cut her hair to cut ties this life but to be with him next life. When she cut her hair she cut everything. She had put all her heart and energy into him. When she cut her hair she accepted it's over and she has truely through. The ending is just showing he's the one that can't let go. She's long at peace and let go. Perhaps the end that dead plant that was dead for how many years grew buds. Is just her forgiving him because she's suffered and understood his wrong doing and was published by sadness and loneliness. Everyone's pain is over and at peace

或許大家都相當不爽，渣龍這「又一次」在失去後緬懷，當年看白髮放到盒子裡，內心如如懿般心死無感，「你也不問問人家同不同意…」但如今看了第N遍，有些明白這結局的另一層面，最寡情的人，往往能長生，因為他們捨得捨去，只愛自己，哪怕心中會痛，卻也不會為別人撲火正因為這樣，他們長壽，卻也錯過真正美好的東西。太后賞綠茶婉的話，恰巧也能打渣龍的臉，就像所有的局，進與不進，走到哪一步，都是人自己選的，半點怨不得旁人，渣龍雖然渣，但他認命吞下了自己選的苦果，成為真正的「寡人」… 如果是如懿，雖然不會原諒他，但也會希望大家別再怪他吧… 寡情的他，永遠無法看到綠梅再次抽芽這是他所選擇要付出的代價，永遠活在追憶和過去，無法逃脫因為終究，他們身邊，無人停留。而真心託付的人，或許被委屈、逝去，但卻找到了出口，前往未來，那段頭髮，留給曾經深愛的你，相見，不如不見吧。

This dweeb of an Emperor only realized his love for Ruyi when she's trulygone. Indeed regret is stronger than gratitude. He lived in debauchery only to die like a lonely old man. I mean he could have live his days with Ruyi and live a fulfilling life but nah, he pushed Ruyi away and went for more concubines who don't give a single shit about him except use his wealth and influence to raise their status in life and in the end they all left him alone.

This shows that she was insecure about her relationship with the emperor as they had distanced from each other. She also tried many times to patch up their relationship but the emperor kept avoiding the problem by bringing in more consorts and concubine and neglected her. To add on, she kept mentioning about their early moments when he was a prince and still holds on to the belief that the emperor is her love and that they can still go back in time although he has already changed. It’s only at the end when she has come to realisation that he is no longer the young guy she loved and broke up with him.

倚天屠龍記也不合歷史啊，正史裡也沒有明教，也沒人嘴。如懿真的寫的很好，很有深度有別於一般大眾的認知，用另一個不同的角度詮釋，又可接回歷史的軌跡，但是那個感傷真的太深沉了，很久才能再看第二遍...

覺得乾隆是清朝最幸福的皇帝。沒有剛開國時幾位皇帝歷經的艱難；也沒有雍正時奪位之爭（雍正皇帝幫他安排好好的）；又如此長壽...,哇，好命格。不過，清朝從他中期其實似已開始有衰敗之跡了，而傳給嘉慶帝，（不算優秀）...。

I enjoyed watching this series in total 87 episodes, but I cried most of the time, especially when Ruyi doing things in her final days before closing her eyes, ..... If she reconciled with the emperor , in my opinion, would have been very disappointed,.

其实一开始两个人还年轻情浓的时候有为过一夫一妻这个说法闹过矛盾，从这一点就可以看作是以后夫妻离心的伏笔。如懿劝皇帝喝醒酒汤的时候就知道，皇帝是想要顺从温顺的女人，随从他心意的人，如懿性子烈，容忍不了参杂杂质的感情…再浓烈的感情，随着年岁增长，权力的增大慢慢就会消磨的所剩无几，那时就再也不会迁就。这段帝后感情的走向衰败也脱不开时代的因素，如果他不是皇帝，这几人在潜邸或许结局走向会好一点，或者如懿不当皇后或许也不会闹的那么难堪。如懿把他看作丈夫大过皇帝，实际上把他当做皇帝大过丈夫会成功的多（比如魏嬿婉或者其他事业妃），像前者比如舒妃，多半没有善终。

The interaction of life between those who rule and those who serve seems so familiar no matter what dynasty or decade we live in now. 我觉得娘娘心里还有乾隆但不是皇上，而是当年的弘历，因为娘娘去了前是望着那盆绿梅而太上皇去了前剪了自己的头发代表他心里还有着如懿，而他去了后那盆绿梅最后也开了，也表示着当年的弘历去找当年的青樱了。(这是我自己理解的 😅）
