Natural mouse scrolling is the only way, and windows makes it so difficult to switch the scrolling direction Congrats on the first flight!

Congratulations, Andrew!! Did the first flight in my 14A in February and still remember it just as you described...abject fear followed by zen calm as soon as she started rolling. Congrats Andrew, Last January I had my first flight and I experienced the same issue with the trim. I did install it correctly, but with only 80 hours of flight time I never had flown a plane with a electric trim on the stick. So I installed the up and down the way it looked natural to me. Turns out that was NOT the 'standard' way. And I have never liked Apple products, so that's weird. I did change the trim, to prevent surprises to others. Anyway great first flight and a good first landing.

Congratulation Andrew!! You're allowed to perform the Phase 1 at KOAK? I thought we had to be base at a less population dense airport/area (TCY, E16, etc.). If you're itching to continue to build, please come to the South Bay and help me finish my -14A 🙂

you can kinda accept that the airspeed was there and then it wasnt (what was the fault ?), but taking off with the trim wired backwards is a dangerous lack of attention to detail. !!!
