interesting, but having not a clue what a 14 is, this means nothing.......would have been nice to hear what is different about a 14..................had never heard of a 14 until accidentally ran across this

Nice looking airplane. How long did it take to build it and was there any kit involved?

This particular airplane was the Beta test build using the first RV-14A kit. Built by Mitch Lock, the East coast representative of Van's Aircraft (and now president). Build time was about 18 months.

May I ask what gadget was used for the gauge overlay on the video during the in-flight shots? I enjoyed seeing that data. Great video!

Hi Dan, I used the Garmin VIRB EX camera for cockpit shots. Mitch had one and I had one. The Garmin VIRB EX has "G-METRIX" built in and records this data automatically. In POST, you can add these overlays. Notice that the shot on the left side of Mitch's head, you can hardly see the prop. I used Garmin's ND filter to reduce the prop-walk that you see with the camera on the right side of Mitch. Joe
