As we started troubleshooting we found that the issue was with the Kitchen/Entry lights. They are really old and are going bad.😿😬

I figured from the start their was an issue with the light fixture itself, by the way you were explaining it. On an RV that old, change out all the fixtures with LED fixtures. My RV was 14 years old when I bought it. I changed mine, except 2 that I very seldom use and I'm not disappointed. I had 12 lights to change. The package I bought only came in a 10-pack. #1 Never use a higher amp fuse to test for issues. #2 If you leave the switch on too long, it can cause the wires to get hot and could possibly melt inside the walls and cause a fire. Depending on the issue, depends on how long it will take the wires to heat up.

Never, never, never use a higher amp fuse for troubleshooting! Good way to damage other things, such as your converter. Also a good way to start a fire. Once you found the faulty circuit (light), stop trying any other things. Turn of the power and pull down the light fixture and check for faulty wiring (corrosion, loose/broken connection/bad switch). The fact that the fuse blows so quickly you probably have a short to ground.

Awesome video. Do however recommend turning power off before installing fuses.I have blown a few and learned to just shut it off.Keep up the good work.Look forward to more videos you gained a subscriber.

Excellent video, I have a similar problem. I did not consider checking the fuse, once I replaced it, or changed the Amp.

I’m having this same issue with the lights in my motorhome, they was working fine than the power converter went bad & I had to replace the converter & ever since then the lights don’t work I still haven’t had time to look into it yet, these motorhome are so complicated & overwhelming it’s a lot to learn that’s for sure you can’t just buy one & use it there’s more to it than that, that’s why it’s good to ask the seller how everything works because if you don’t than it’s a big Learning curve & you’ll probably never figure everything out, I’ve owned mine for about 3 years now & I still don’t know how everything works in the damn thing, I need to maybe pay someone to walk me thru all the electrical & controls, I’ve owned my Class A for 3 years & never used it it’s just been sitting on my property I bought a cover for it to keep it out of the elements because these thing will fall apart if you leave it out in the rain for years!

I have a similar issue and same converter fuse panel as you although my issue is none of the 12v rv overhead lights work and my monitor panel also. Pretty stumped everything appears to be fine except a 15amp breaker blew but I reset it all the 110v shoreline is working and some 12v dc things too I think. All but lights and monitor panel

Mike Adkins Jr. my dogs turned off the 12v supply switch on the front dashboard :| just clicked it back on but then they decided to knock over their water bowl as I was filling it up and it fell on the converter bottom board lol

Brother, did you seriously knife hand the light fixture? Lol. I put in one set of LED lights in the 5th W I love them, spendy but a good upgrade.

Yes....yes I did...lol We are going to upgrade all the fixtures with led fixtures. Probably next month. :)

I replaced all my 12 volt lights to led because of that problem but I found one fixture shorting out on when I turned it on

I swapped the lights to LED a couple weeks ago and I can’t tell what side of my switch is off, how can I test that?

Pick up a tester from your local hardware store or just connect the wires and flip the switch. 🤔👍

Operation Life we recently charged the battery and now the dome lights won’t turn on at all now, did you have that problem? None of the fuses have blown

As you can tell from the video I did not swap out the battery and I did not swap out my lights. So no I did not have that problem.

At 10:03 A ghost orb shoots straight up on the right side of the screen. And yes, An orb is a ghost, nothing else would have caused that. Better check it out!

Music does not belong in any DIY video esp with the human voice. Why are you forcing music on us? Its horribly annoying. And I cannot hear what you are saying over the music or with the sound off. Cannot use your video due to music interference. You made a 12 min video on a blown fuse? Clearly have too much time on your hands. You have 8 lights on one fuse? Use LED bulbs. Takes 3 mins to explain at most.

I actually spent the 12 minutes watching the video and thought these are very warm and humble people trying to perhaps help others. I did however spend about 15 seconds reading your comment and was mildly disturbed with your "constructive criticism". Fortunately the music calmed me to the point where I could send a mature reply.
