Installing double nuts on your RV cable slide outs can save you headaches and possibly big money. The addition of the double nut will prevent the loosening of the cables which results in the slide out operation becoming out of balance. In this video, I double nut our BAL Accu-Slide cable slide outs. As you install the nuts, now is the time to adjust the cable brackets and chain bolts to give you a straight up and down position preventing the brackets from hitting, as they slide past each other (in operation), preventing damage to the slide mechanism.
