We're here today to talk about the worst things that happened to us in 2023 while full-time RV living. As we all know, RV life and being on the road can be both amazing and challenging. While we enjoy the freedom and adventure that comes with traveling around the country in our homes on wheels, we have also had our fair share of frustrating and disappointing experiences. In this video we are going to share, the worst breakdowns, the worst place we stayed, the worst thing we ate, the worst attraction and the worst people we encountered!

We ended up spending a few months in Apache Junction USA rv park last winter, spotted it in your flat tire spot. Also used Discount Tire there and had a flat fixed. We gave both places a thumbs up.

Great video! We haven't been on the road long but... So far the worst people are the bad pet parents. We have actually watched people let their dog go and start to walk away and we offered them a bag. We have bags in our pockets, attached to the leash, in the truck, in my purse...never want to be without! The worst food and service was at the Goldmine Saloon in Apache Junction. The burger was edible but definitely a letdown. The worst, or biggest letdown, attraction was the "Corner in Winslow Arizona." The whole area was a sketchy letdown but we did the photo, bought a magnet and a t-shirt and didn't hang around long. The worst campground was the Cotton Land RV Park in Lubbock TX. Everything worked but it just felt creepy and it was hard to get in and out of the campground from the highway. The worst breakdown was really just the slide cable and trim that popped off because we didn't realize the couch had moved. New cable ordered and Al will install that sometime before we leave Arizona! Happy New Year! We hope your 2024 is full of safe and happy travels!

We always have bags with too and gave someone one that was going to leave the poop there too while in a state park in New Mexico! It's not hard to be a responsible pet own and pick up after them. We know you are from Wisconsin and those cheese curds were no good! lol When we were at the "corner in Winslow" there was a intoxicated guy urinating on a tree right there! It is basically a picture and good- but the restaurant across the street had really good food and beer! Not everything is everyone and there are just some things that are better than others! Traveling and finding those fun and amazing ones is what RV Life is all about! Safe travels and Happy 2024! Here is to more adventures! Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

Matthew kept saying nope, nope, nope when he saw the Love's RV park! LOL @ "we are not in love with Love's!" 😂 We had stayed 1 night in Oasis RV Resort in Amarillo when we were traveling through. We are not from Wisconsin and we even thought those cheese curds looked bad! 🤮Y'all are such positive people! Keep it up! ~ Shion and Matthew

Loved this video great idea wow! Love how positive you are u were even smiling after an accident and flast tires and then waiting so long for the RV to be fixed but worst of all lack of sleep not sure if I can smile after lack of sleep and not because i was having too much fun. You were really lucky that the tires didnt go flat while driving so that is a positivefor sure. We did petroglyps in Hawaii they at least had some stories along the way. Being retired Law Enforcement, we learned early on in our careers to take a positive outlook or get burned out & become hateful from the job. We can tell you being positive helped us both have amazing careers, but an even more amazing retirement! I don't think we have stopped smiling since retiring!! All and all it looked like a pretty good year. Thanks for the heads up on loves campground. We will definitely mark that when off our list. We can't stand it when people don't pick up after their pets. We were at a campground brought after we had gotten our RV, And I stepped right in a big pile of it. Danny was teaching me how to do the outside stuff. It was so disgusting. I guess I'll leave you with that thought. 😅😂 Lynn and Danny

These are certainly things that happen when traveling. We love Discount Tire. We had a huge bolt/screw in one of our camper tires recently, only 6 weeks after Jim had put brand new tires on. 🤦♀ Happy 2024! - Michelle

We travel with a rottie and a beagle and there are a lot of bad dog owners in RVs. We have gone so far to go complain to the desk at A really beautiful KOA because this lady would be yelling for her dog that was running loose!!

Yep, Love's is on our "last resort, emergency overnight" list - at $40+/night, it's overpriced for what it is ... and by default you're going to get interstate noise at almost any of them.

Great Video! First thing, the Amarillo Elks has a great spot to park your RV and even has water and 50A electric! If the worst thing that happened to your rig was a little coolant leak, you had a GREAT YEAR with your RV. Sorry about your Toad, that was really bad. The Petroglyph National Monument had to be one of the weirdest National Parks we have visited. Between closing at 4pm, and not really explaining what these symbols meant was just not good. At TTO, did you report the poop patio depository? I certainly would have. I have no tolerance for people like this. BTW - you should have published the picture! If people are that bad, they need to be called out.

The point was that not every thing is going to be amazing. We still had fun as we were with friends but took us about 10-15 minutes to see everything. It was disappointing as not a whole lot to see or do there. Happy New Year- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

We've had a few of those bad campsites and poor atttraction adventures as well. Pet owners are either the best or the worst. There doesn't seem to be any in between. Great job guys. Bill and DeAnna
