My old stomping grounds. Had a boat there for years. Interesting fact---the ferry dock is L shaped and off the L there is a sunken Model T and someone put a plastic skeleton in the drivers seat. Fun dive.

Bayfield and their many boats reminds me of Annapolis, Md. Their boats had a bubbler that was used to keep the ice from forming around the boat. Yes, your right the fisherman of Bayfield did live a different lifestyle. Thanks for including your viewers in this very interesting trip so far. Take care.

It's amazing how well maintained the lake side communities are in northern Wisconsin. Russ's videos of town along old route 66 that were bypassed by I-40 are mostly abandoned and run down.

I really love these scenic drives along the edge of the Great Lakes. One neat little town after another, each with their own character. And all the local museums with slices of history--each one worth visiting because they have something you won't see anywhere else (although it's easy to reach "museum overload" after a while). This season is truly a "once in a lifetime" trip. Looking forward to more! Happy trails!

Seems you are really enjoying this stay. Perfectly relaxing in cool air by the lake. Cook up a steak dinner and then sit back to absorb the exsperiance. The pace of your videos is reflecting your vacation. Good time to catchup with Landry and fetching supplies for your van... I don't have one but these are the times to have a dog to share the walks with. ;)

We just spent 4 days in Bayfield in early August! Loved it ❤ It was such a wonderful tiwn with wonderful people ❤️ The Apostle Islands were amazing! The Fruit Loop was great too!

In the winter time sometimes the lake freezes over and you can drive across to Madeline Island. As another mentioned in the fall they have apple fest which is another fun event

I grew up in Bayfield along with my mother and father, and their parents. My great grandparents all came from Norway and settled there. My great grandpa Ole has a pic in that museum. Also, when you say big lake and Canada is across, you are looking south at Ashland, wi.

Hi, Russ, my name is Alan Lough. My last name is pronounced L-A-W-T-H. I'm a Scottsman. My ancestors are from Scotland. I reside here in Weirton, WV, where I was born and raised. Yes, I'm a lifelong resident of Weirton, WV. I've been watching your KZfaq Channel videos for awhile and I decided to subscribe to your KZfaq Channel, so I can watch your videos. Kudos to your KZfaq Channel!👍👍👍👍👍👍❤👍 I honestly, don't have the financial resources to be an rver. So, I do enjoy being able to "travel" with you. That's a really, really nice van that you have to go rving in. I really like your gopro front and rear cameras that you have on your van. Those cameras have a great wide angle. You give me the impression that you're a really nice and down to earth person. Weirton, WV is located in the Northern Panhandle of WV, north of Follansbee, WV, but a little south of New Cumberland, WV. Tomlinson Run State Park, is north of Weirton, in New Cumberland. If you are able to make it up here in Weirton, maybe you can stay at Tomlinson Run State Park for a night or two. Who knows the state park may be able to accommodate the size of your van at their campgrounds at Tomlinson Run State Park. I hope that you stay safe while your rving. I really enjoy the museums that you go to. I'm a big-time supporter of preserving history, for history is what made America great. I hope that you stay safe when you're rving. Take care, Alan.
