I love the bit about Blake having four ears I'm a vtuber with 4 ears (2 human and 2 bunny) and the explanation behind it is that the brain filters out which set of ears is being used based on circumstance. Most of the time for causal situations like coversations the human ears would be active but in other situations where you need to be atuned to your surroundings the animal ears would take priority with sensory input. It's just funny to see people be so confused over characters that have both human and anmal ears when this explanation for having both makes more sense than a humanoid character with animal ears only having one set as trying to listen to most conversations with animal ears could be overwhelming as it would be too loud to process.
