The Revell TIE Fighter in 1/110 scale is a very affordable kit compared to the similar Bandai offering and has a relatively low part count. So at first glance it seems like this would result in a pretty basic and cheap looking model but with a bit of extra painting and weathering effort this kit builds into a really impressive looking nice little model. The included model stand is also great for displaying the completed model on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. While the specified scale is 1/110 in reality it's actually closer to around 1/70 so it's not as tiny as the indication on the box suggests. I built this model as a gift for a true Star Wars fan in our family and he was really excited to receive it and add it to his Star Wars collection.
