You're the man, Jegs! I don't know anyone else on KZfaq that's doing such good GPU performance testing. If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a small favor: Would you consider placing all 1080p tests and all 1440p tests together in batches instead of alternating them? Most people evaluate a specific card because they want to play games at a specific resolution, so it would be more helpful to see how a particular card plays all games at, say, 1080p. For example, if I come to KZfaq because I'm trying to learn how well the 7800 XT plays games at 1440p, I'd like to see all the 1440p results one after another instead of having each result separated by a 1080p gameplay sequence. Thanks a lot!

Well it's an extra $150. An entire tier above. What you should be saying is, the 4060Ti 8GB outsold the 7700XT by some 600%, yet they cost the same and the 7700XT is around 30-35% faster!

Which cards are you comparing? 6800 xt to 7800 xt? 6700 to 7700xt? I agree, there is less value in this generation. You should also consider that 7800 xt is actually the x800 card of this generation. Amd didn't give us 7800 card, because 7800 xt is actually that card. 7900 gre is the real 7800 xt.

@@mistarnoob1495 Here not cheaper. 7800XT = £500 and 7900GRE = £560. Both amazing cards. Presuming you can't find a leftover 6900XT or 6950XT of course. But for me, £500+ is a lot of money, for a MID RANGE card. 7800XT + 7900GRE only look good cos Nvidias offerings are soooooo fricken terrible.

Why is it pointless? If it serves your purposes, then you get it. Black Friday in 3 months time, might be able to grab a 7800XT for £400 or even less! Good for 1440p for 24 months, and 1080p for a further 24 months. In todays mad world, thats a bargain.
