it is really too bad that the general population can't appreciate this machine for what it really is. These days, people just want power and accelation, or fuel economy and handling... The rx8 is a track machine on the street. I luv these cars.

ya, i love my rx8 too, other than low MPG,i really have no complaints, if mazda can develop a rotary engine with enough HP and descent MPG, i think it would be a damn good engine, for its size, rotary engines are very light and deliver high HP for its size, it's just that they just haven't figured out a way to get at least 20+ mpg street driving. I'm sure they can produce rotary engines that can deliver more HP easily, but then the MPG would suffer, just gotta find the solution to the dilema

Mazda Rx8 is ok but the best car Mazda have ever made period is the Fd3s Rx7. Hell if they re released the car again it would still look fresh and modern. How many 20 year old cars can you say that about?
