Ohh i see. Here in our country they use thinner sleeves even on 4 stroke and the sleeve warped rapidly due to overheating and and bad sleeve metal quality. And sometimes the cylinder block cracks due to sleeve thermal expansion

Before Mahle developed 'chrome' for Porsche cylinders in the 1960's, most 'cooking' two strokes were one piece cast iron (cylinders and fins.) In the late 70's, cast iron liners were common in two stroke and four-stroke motors with alloy block and things stayed like that until late 90's when 'plated' cylinders became common on motorcycles Usually, there is a 0.002"~0.004" interference fit, depending if liner is shrink fit or press fit (sometimes both, initially shrunk in then pressed after cooling due to alloy 'shrinking' faster than iron) If you had problems with liners distorting, they were either not fitted properly, had been bored too thin or were made from old water pipe!
