I get shocked that people a lot older (50s and 60s) than me (26) listen to this kind of music, and then I remember my dad is 50 this year and I get my love of this genre from him. He introduced me to Angus and Julia Stone, Bon Iver and so many others, and it’s now morphed into the most divine collection of soft ballads, emotionally touching melodies, and chilling lyrics, in my music libraries. Music like this is such a gift and I wish more people would appreciate how soul piercing and healing it can be.

What a voice.. I am in love.

I have been a fan of his for forever and he rarely comes out to LA or performs in the US as RY X but he sometimes performs as the Acid, which was amazing by the way, and I was recently able to attend one of his shows and I have never felt so much emotion during a concert before. It is so raw and untouched and its like no other. I can't believe he hasn't taken off yet because this is all I seem to listen to. On another note, really bummed because he is coming to LA again soon but it is 21 and over. I cried for a few hours because I would never want to miss out on an opportunity and experience like this :(
