Wow. This song is just so good. The part that hits me pretty hard is the last verse because he is talking about finding pieces of her hair around even still. THAT is a painful reminder for sure and it's so believable. I'M SURE IT HAPPENS. Unfortunately, I think many of us can relate to a similar shade of shitty ass heartache these days. Although we can't be expected to ever forget it (and why would we want to?), I hope the pain eases up for Ryan and for all of us. Not to be too cheesy, but Khalil Gibran comes to mind..."When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight." Ryan Adams has provided much of the soundtrack for so many of my own years of repeated heartaches and disasters and it's been rather therapeutic. Thanks man.
