People seem to forget that Jordan love had four years to learn the offense and sit behind one of the best that ever played… Justin Fields came into a difficult situation they had to rebuild a team, after starting out with a head coach that wasn’t very good at keeping him safe… Now he’s finally hitting his stride now he’s getting better at pocket passing and now he’s making some incredible plays with his legs and his arm so starting over again is that the right move? Do you really want to take a chance on some young immature quarterbacks and perhaps Drake May could be better… Maybe they can find another good quarterback in the third or fourth round… But to start over and not give Justin fields the proper weapons, better blocking It’s just stupid the right thing to do is keep him here and keep building because he has the right character, work ethic and the locker room loves him as well as I’m pretty sure Mrs. McCaskey Virginia, likes him… He is a man of God and he takes it very seriously, he’s extremely mature for his young age And he eats right, something that most young people don’t do they still eat garbage… What he needs is more of players like him guys who take it extremely seriously and guys who only want to win like DJ Moore and Cole Kmet you add another receiver and tight end or a couple receivers and a tight end plus another running back that’s more elusive, quicker and faster and this team could really takeoff…do not start over again who cares about the reset our financial bullshit it doesn’t matter… The only thing that matters is that Chicago finally has a talented quarterback and they need to stick with him not start over again that would be a mistake a huge mistake

As a guy who was out for Eberflus head I've gained a lot of respect for him. Those guys never once gave up on him.

I'm glad Poles swayed the Stroud question cause no one saw that out of the kid coming out of the draft to be able to lead a team the way he did. But again to be fair, like with Jordan Love, when you are put in a solid organization, you should trend better than most.

I feel like poles has to see that he can get so much more than he did last year trading this pick, Fields is our guy and they have to see that giving him more will benefit this team more than restarting again.

Justin is our guy, period! I know the majority of Bear fans want to see Marvin Harris Jr. be drafted first. But my philosophy is to address the protection. The offensive line is the biggest issue and the most important issue that needs to be fixed. We don't only need a Center, we need a Right and Left Guard. Tevin Jenkins hasn't been healthy since year one. Eric Davis isn't what we thought he would be. And we all know the Lucas Patrick is at best a backup Center. In my opinion, Poles should trade down and draft 2 Offensive Linemen in the first round. If we have a dominate Offensive Line, it wouldn't matter who's the QB because he'll have all the time in the world to throw the ball AND it would help open holes for our RBs as well. Solves two issues by fixing the O-Line. I really like Marvin Harris Jr., but there are a lot of other WRs that are just as talented, if not, better than MHJ.( Xavier Legette, SC, Malik Nabers, LSU, Keon Coleman, FSU, who all play in the SEC. TE will also need to be addressed (Brock Bowers) but not as critical as O-line. And don't forget, free agency will have a lot of players that can address some of these needs as well. Its hard to find good talented young Offensive Linemen nowadays. So don't be so sold on drafting one particular player and think it'll solve all of our problems. Prioritize the needs and we'll be much better and more competitive next season. IN POLES WE TRUST. BEAR DOWN!!!

The first ever NFL team I'd been introduced to is the Chicago Bears at age 5 Jared and I are born in the same week. Anyway my favorite sports team in all of sports is the Chicago Bears. I love Da Bears! That being said it's obvious Poles didn't draft Justin Fields I have to say it's time to pull the plug. I did my best to keep from crying after Justin missed Kole in the end zone while he'd made the play to get open. Quarterbacks make the receivers look better not the other way around. We all know we saw that as a sure TD from an elite talent. But as the story and the films shows is the ball is too late and knocked away. Similarities to a lot of other knocked down balls Fields has thrown. Say Justin Fields is okay with being traded to ATL for a first round pick. Ryan Poles has to look at everything if you could get the number eight pick for Justin Fields...... He's okay with being back in Georgia. Poles you have to pull the trigger and draft Caleb Williams. Keep it super simple 9th pick if you could get Alt or Olu or if their not on the board Bowers or one of the top 3 receivers in the draft fall. I've listened to the interviews with Braxton Jones and if Poles ask him to move over to left guard he wouldn't complain about it. If he asked Tevin Jenkins to move back over to right guard he'd be cool with it also. There is still a huge whole to fill in at center. This is 2024 it's a Quarterbacks league. Your in position as GM of a fortune 500 to increase in consumer interest. You stick to your word the offense line is on the way to elite if you Poles stick to your guns. And pull the trigger get your guy Caleb Williams and make sure he's well protected by an elite offense line. New slate and freaking genius. Peace out

I hope the media realizes now that they aren’t drafting a QB#1 and are sticking with Fields. Most people that understand football and understand what it takes knows that Justin isn’t the problem.

The way this team is built makes sense. Hire Eberflus and that’s guaranteed stability from the head coach position as well as a solid defense, the players like him as well. With that stability you can afford to hire the wrong offensive staff then just plug and play until you find somebody who can coach Justin

If I was in pole’s position I’d trade back to 3 grab Marvin Harrison, then trade back number 9 and grab a center and edge. Then in second round I’d grab another corner.

It doesn’t matter who you have at QB until you give them a line, more targets, and a compatible OC… Bears are abysmal at developing the QB position because they seem to think they don’t need quality coaching as long as they have a quality arm. Bail on Fields, he 100% goes elsewhere and tears it up. He isn’t the problem.

The Bears where NOT ready to start the season 0-4 to start. Name a game where Bears got better in the 2nd half of games, They never had any, in game adjustments that helped in a win. Getting the team ready and in game adjustments is all on the Head Coach. SO WHY are we keeping Eberflus. The Bears will be in this same situation next year.
