The way they've fallen in love with football and lower league football is amazing to see. To the jealous fans of other tinpot clubs, why hate on them for being successful business men who've not only spent money on the team but actually revitalised a WHOLE TOWN (now city) which is admirable. 👏👏

Terrible interviewer. Saying "and of COURSE Ryan Reynolds" and making Rob seem less important even though its a PARTNERSHIP. Not to mention Wrexham fans even have a song for Rob! Fair play to Ryan too for picking up on that and throwing the attention off himself so Rob can talk. True partnership!

@bossman5370 respectfully, they've brought massive interest to this sport in the United States, where it's been underwhelmingly received for decades. With the show, they shone a light on it and showed it is worth watching. So yes, maybe not to the world, but here in the USA, they did; the interest, the excitement, it was all brought be Wrexham.

Exactly right. Survival- consolidate and then promotion. They do have a considerable advantage in player signing as its quite a Glam gig compared to other teams in that league. That should give them an edge.

I love these guys, what they have done for the people of Wrexham, The Football Club is just so wonderful to see. Rob is always excited and wants to build and progress and it was him that started the whole thing with the tall lad hates the red tape and waiting. Ryan I think has totally fell in love with Football. I wish them every success in the world ! I really hope they get into the Prem ! The documentary is wonderful to watch ! Is there really that much difference in quality between the national League and League 2? Wrexham is going to be the team everyone in that league wants to beat. It's going to be interesting to see how the players handle being 'that team' this season.

Losing the first game of the season is the best thing that can happen to a team - gives a perspective, reveals all the problems, gets the frustration out and the determination in. The way they played against Wigan afterwards showed that.

2-1 down at halftime, but they were 2-0 down and brought one back before half-time. Hopefully they can get the win in the 2nd half. I really like these 2, they're phenomenal owners. They seem to have the same feeling with the club as Vichai had with my team (Leicester), i REALLY want them to succeed... A LOT!!!

@@sinep4371 this was first game of the season against MK Dons which finished 5-3 IIRC so not exactly the world's biggest kicking. But yeah they finished 26-10-10 so only lost 9 more all season. I'm proud of them. Onwards and upwards 💪

Idk why a minority of people have been sour on Rob & Ryan. They are capitalists, sports fans, and people with best intentions. Their dedication to hiring the right staff and trusting the staff and players led to promotion. Ideal owners if you ask me.

I'm actively disinterested in professional sports and even more-so with football (soccer). But I'm totally reeled in with the Wrexham story and team. For me, it's all about the story telling and lyrical narrative. It doesn't hurt that this happened in parallel with Ted Lasso, which, despite it's professional sport theme, roped me in for all the same reasons. Da iawn!

Americans seriously underestimate how many European and specifically English NFL fans there are, and Europeans and specifically the British seriously underestimate how many American soccer fans there are. And for the record, when I first started to get into the sport, I called it football. But as I felt less like a "guest" and more like I didn't have to "prove" I was a fan of the game, I went back to calling it soccer. Not because soccer is a better name, but because I want to fully embrace building our own soccer culture instead of just trying to imitate the culture of other places, and calling it soccer is part of that American soccer culture.

Recruitment has been poor this pre season for wrexham , still short of 2 quality signings if we want a chance of promotion, parky and whoever is in talks with new players or enquiring about them hopefully get a couple in soon , or it could well be a season of if only. Pressure is on the management staff to get it right and that's why they are paid well. Very early days.

@@nickraoyj They definetly want promotion , they ambitious and got there eyes set On moving up the leagues in as short a time as possible. I think them and the club will be disappointed if we dont at least reach the play offs this season. Might be just beyond us due to the recruitment being slow and quiet this time so strengthen the squad more but still few weeks left yet, to bring a couple of quality players in, that could make all the difference.

And it came down to earth with a bump........ but the signs are good. All they need to do, don't let one result get to you, one game at a time, then wait to see where you end up. Think the bookies may be a bit wrong, I've seen them as favourites for promotion - - - - think they'll be happy with top half this year - then progress. But no matter what happens, they've increased the popularity of the game, shone a light on the town....... and then a certain Mr Brady gets involved with Birmingham (well, he can afford to)
