One of the villagers on our island in Animal Crossing New Horizons has decided to move out, which means it's time to go on a hunt for a new friend to come live on our island! We have a list of "dreamie" villagers we're trying to get. Let's see if we can find one of them!

My friend doesn’t watch ACNH vids, and I brought up Raymond and she said, “ Oh yeah, I saw him on a mystery island. I think it’s so beautiful when animal crossing players, especially youtubers with an audience, ignore the pressure to choose popular villagers and rather just stick to their values and take the ones they personally love. Heaps of respect 💗

Haha they're classified as ostriches in the game :) They're skinned to look like flamingos and peacocks, but because there would only be one flamingo or one peacock, the game classifies them all as the ostrich species

Reneigh was my first starting villager and I just need to say she is tops. I loved her so much, after a game reset (dont ask RIP) I just kept loading up the game until I got her as a starter again. She has the play hobby which means that she Naruto runs everywhere, and love it. Even her basic house is pretty cool (purple roof & black door).

Also it was a big miss to have Renee not be Rini, she's even wearing a sailor uniform and I feel like it's a rhino pun. I know Rini is only an adaption for Chibiusa's name, but it makes me laugh to think of a Rino version of Chibi Moon.

I had no idea Dom and Erik were so loved. I got Dom as a starter and just found and added Erik as my first new villager last night! Buuut my other starter was Shari so that's...less lucky. Ultimately I'd love to have a cozy little goth island with all the spooky characters.

I have both Erik and Sherb on my island and honestly they’re my favorite villagers! They’re so nice and I love how happy they get when I give them fruit 🥺 Also Sherbs house is absolutely fabulous 💜

There’s nothing wrong with liking Raymond. I didn’t initially want him, but he showed up at my campsite on the same day I found out I needed glasses, so I considered it a sign lol. Turns out he’s very sweet and I really like him!

I agree, it would be great to be able to go to different islands from an NMT trip but I guess the developer's wouldn't have seen much use for it. They probably wouldn't have really intended for people to hunt for villagers the way they do.

I also feel like it's to elongate how long you play the game, which would be weird since the company wouldn't necessarily benefit from people playing the game longer? But sometimes it feels like the constant dialogue and repetitive actions like making things was done purely to increase your playtime. 🤷‍♂️

nah i’m sure they knew it’d be like that, they know the community pretty well since they implemented some of the things people wanted way before NH (like choosing a spot for a villager’s house, laying down paths etc) and there used to be a villager market in NL as well

The octopi in general are meh to me. I like Meringue because I love to bake and I want a cafe. But she’s not a dreamy. If she pops up I’ll take her, but I can take or leave her

My mindset is villagers are popular for a reason, but i’d only pick them if i _really_ liked them. (Bob, Zucker, Audie, Ketchup, Apple are all villagers i’ve had/still have)

Shari was one of my starting villagers, and she's just the sweetest. I didn't really care about her at the beginning but she grew on me

When I built the first 3 plots, I started hunting for villagers and hoped to find either Marshal, Raymond, or Sherb. On the 3rd try, I actually got Sherb. I hope you find him! He's the absolute most precious villager I have. He's pretty cute too. Also congrats on finding one of your dream team members!

I got Marshal for my 4th villager, which I believe was assigned by the system (my memory could be wrong but I don’t think you can hunt for villagers for the first 6) . I didn’t know he is so popular back then. Now I can’t live without him. His personality is shining.

In my experience, the less you spend the more rare the villagers are. Stiches and Raymond were met 6 days apart. Stiches were 2 tickets, Raymond was 5 tickets

When I was filling my last five plots, aka doing a lot of villager hunting working with limited nook miles bc I was new, I found Raymond and could not pass him up bc I knew how popular he was. He ended up being the first to ask to leave so I sold him for 200 NMTs and now can look for who I want. Also Dom was one of my starters and I literally never want to give him up.

Dom was one of my starters but I gave him away today to my friend. I like Dom but he is my friend's dreamie. I kicked him out via Amiibo, using Rosie's Amiibo. She has picked him up after he went in boxes and she's really happy.

I just took Biskit from an island the other day. I hadn’t ever seen him before and he instantly reminded me of Jake the dog from adventure time and he is lazy so I fell in love haha
