Nope we have the snowy mountains winter in June in Australia Thredbo has heaps of snow in winter for skiing

Loved seeing your confusion at the temperatures, Ryan. Yes, the reporters were feeling the cold; did you notice the clothes most people were wearing? Our clothes here are not made for really cold weather; although we have coats or jackets they are not as warm as yours. We can buy clothes suitable for wearing in the snow but not in the regular shops, you would only buy those kinds of clothes if you were going skiing or overseas to a proper cold country, like America 😊

The reporter said the MAXIMUM temperature in the city of SYDNEY was 10.3°C.

10.3 was the maximum at 2pm so it would've been below 0 overnight to get snow, also take into account a lot of Australia gets to 35-45 celsius in summer so 0 celsius is a huge drop

Ryan, you might need to watch a video on Australia's Geography. We are not the 'flat earth' people talked about in the dark ages. We have mountains, valleys and raging rivers. Even in desert regions we have mountains.

Major cities are located on the coast which moderates temperatures. As you go inland temperatures get more extreme. In the mountains it is common for snow dumps of half a metre up to a metre in a day are common in winter. We get snow every year and the skiing season lasts from June to October.

The newsreader said the MAXIMUM it got to was 10.3, therefore it was colder than that for the majority of the day.

Australian snow fields get more snow than Switzerland in the winter ❄️.. we are very diverse 👍🇦🇺

Our average winter temps in Sydney are about 60°f mate. So 50 or under is bloody freezing 🥶 but we also have some of the best ski resorts in the world at Perisher valley and Thredbo.

I’m in Queensland and the only sledding I did as a kid was down a sand dune on a piece of cardboard 😂 if it gets to less than 15 Celsius in winter, I need my Ugg boots and the heater …

I live in outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne and went to Lake Mountain many times over my childhood and used a taboggan and built snowmen plenty of times. It’s a snow play and cross country skiing resort only 1.5 hours away. By the way, June is mid-winter.
