At the very beginning of the 20th century, through the dense Meshchersky forests, a narrow steel path connected two large cities: Ryazan and Vladimir. A little later, the narrow-gauge railway was reduced from Ryazan to Tuma and it became known as Tumskaya.
She has gone down in history. Over the years, a huge number of passengers and cargo has been transported. But everything comes to an end and today it remains to look for only the remains of this legendary road.
In this video, we will see the remains of the Pilevo station and Meshchera peat transshipment, we will drive through Spas-Klepiki and the burnt Ryazan forests to Golovanova Dacha itself. And finally, we will walk around the station and depot in Tuma.
Enjoy watching!
