Using the fogger for work... it sprays out more as a stream vs the electrostatic sprayer is more of a fine mist. Good video.
@streetteamstudios3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. We agree with you. We also find with the electrostatic you have to have it set on "low" otherwise it's more of a spray. Glad the video was helpful and you are also using it in a work setting. All the best - STS

The fogger tends to spit when not level
@Lilmiket10002 жыл бұрын
@@btnh-9er244 lol I used that thing at work in the break room one time. It was a nightmare. The whole room got saturated and over sprayed lol. It was so embarrassing. I eventually figured out it works best if you put a tiny bit of solution in at a time. and to keep it as level as possible. and to start the spray away from what you want to sanitize before you aim at youre target. Im not a fan of this one at all. I will be buying the gun shaped one. It drips a little but I can deal with that after using spray bottles for so long.

You did it wrong for the ONE+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Fogger/Mister.. I own one and the nose isn’t supposed to be tilted DOWN but it should be slightly tilted UP so it wont spew water like in your video. Its a great machine for disinfecting your home and it makes the job easier. I put 1/4 of water in the tank and 3-4 Tbsps/40mL of Lysol

Does the disinfectant leave a film on the surfaces that would need to be cleaned off? Thanks for the vid!
@streetteamstudios3 жыл бұрын
d Pro 5 does not require a water wipe according to the specs and EPA. It's totally safe around food/beverage for that reason. It doesn't leave a film or anything but we have noticed that on certain cases that we use Gaff tape on the tape doesn't stick as well so on those items we often have to do a water wipe or use a secondary cleaner just so we can get the tape to stick down well. But other than that we haven't had a reason for a 2nd step/wipe. Hope this helps!
@CHAMPDOGZ3 жыл бұрын
Yes it will, you need to wipe anything that has been sprayed with any solution
@mountnman1003 жыл бұрын
@@CHAMPDOGZ You're right. I've used a few disinfectants since the question. Some are worse than others for leaving a film. Most that I use are 10 min disinfectants, so I have to wipe everything down after their effective time but before they dry and leave a film. Pia.

@@streetteamstudios Not sure where you are getting you're info from, but Simple Green d Pro 5 is not food safe at the recommended concentration for disinfecting. Very Few disinfectants are safe to be sprayed around food at all. Even those deemed food safe are generally not meant to be sprayed around food with some exceptions including some Hypochlorous Acid, Ethanol, and Thymol based disinfectants along with a few, very few, others

What? The sprayer foggs and the fogger sprays
@soylencer2 ай бұрын
He didn't prime the fogger nearly long enough. Those Spider-Man web skeets on the seat were not supposed to happen. And the electrostatic spray does look a lot little foggier than a normal spray because it's a finer mist and it pulls itself to surfaces due to static rather than spraying in a cone. I know your comment is a year old but I didn't want to clear things up. There are probably better videos on these two devices.

@@azurdo1948 I use the fogger with vital oxide and if you do not not dilute it properly it will foam up and spit solution. But yes if it sits after you shut it off its a good idea to run it for a few seconds to blow out the settled solution.

can u use alcohol
@streetteamstudios3 жыл бұрын
We haven't tried that so you would have to test it out. We have found that some machines respond differently to certain chemicals so there's a bit of trial & error. We have found that it's better to empty the tanks of the chemical after use for storage. Also, the EPA does not test chemicals in machines so if you have a chemical that the EPA says kills covid it becomes void when you use a machine because the EPA doesn't go around and test the chemical in all the different machines out there (that would take forever). For us it's a cross between trial/error and common sense. Keep us posted if you try and alcohol and report back the dilution rate you used. There's lots of disinfecting subscribers who read the comments looking to see what others have tried so your comments are welcome here.

haha, yeah -- Ryobi recently came out with a new version of a handheld electrostatic sprayer that actually works much better, without the electrostatic feature it's like what you said...a water gun. sometimes we want to be mobile and drench something, but that mainly happens outside.
